beautifully done, its just sad that that rend really didnt change that much since D3 I hope they can do something about this. like extend its duration or fury consumption.

100% agreeing with you. They can implement a lot of different stuff to make certain spells more attractive. Rend desperately need some love... Would be cool if they changed it to maybe if you rend 5 times, u drop pools of blood around you. Bleed damage ticks 100% faster and can make the enemy slip. Shit like that 😊

@@Ralleros yes it just needs a decent aspect with cool effects to boost its usefulness because right now all you get is a fury cost return with the slaking aspect, and even that doesn't even work that well, its really laughable. Ravenous is cool though but the tempering trade-off this season really kills it.

Agreed, ravenous can't compete with Flay duration tempering, and ravenous also has brawling skills on it and not crit dmg or strength or something useful for Rend! It's the only unique for barb that procs with other skills instead of the primary skill, like hellhammer, overkill or even red ring. :/

I really like Rend as well. It boosts Flay damage quite a bit when combined with Accelerating Aspect. The problem is that I have to drop either challenging shout or iron skin to fit it in, which for me doesn't really work out. I may try it again after I get a shako though.

Yeah, I agree, accelerating works well. I'm going to drop rend and try Flay rupture.

@@barb_or_bust I personally don't like Flay...I'm waiting for a Ambo's Pride like weapon from D3 to emerge so Whirlwind will proc Rend automatically. Until then Upheaval is still my favorite skill even though it gets no love from Blizzard

You can save 4 paragon points, when you go directly to the hemorrhage glyph in the same Board, instead from the bone breaker board

Fun vid bro. I play Flay Barb and its just so powerful. I really really want Rend to be good but it just isn't strong enough to justify its place in a bleed build atm. War Cry bring so much value that Rend cant even come close to matching. Sad times.

Thank you for posting this. I had two other shouts, imo they didn't do as much for me. I'm going to switch them out for Ironskin and Rend. My Fury is capped most of the time and it felt like a waste. At least with your build I can utilize the fury with Rend. I am still in the campaign, do you think using your build now would be ok? I believe I'm level 51.

It will. At lvl 51 I'd use rend size to clear things quicker, for pit pushing make sure you go full Flay

you really are number one with builds, but there is one thing that I can't do like your build, how do you have the resistances almost all at maximum? I can not do it

Have 2 different resistances on gear and use gems in the rings and amulet.

@@mr.izinyoka Almost the same. in the video I don't take tough as nails like in the build guide. Either take 3 points to booming voice or 1 to booming voice and 1 to tough as nails, your call.

So rn I have the ds dd build and I wanna do this build but bro I can’t get any good gear drops or any with greater affixes it takes like 10 helltide bosses with the mind active to get any decent drops that come close then I usually get them bricked in tempering haha

I feel that, bricked a lot of good items :/ start with non greater affix but high rolls, then try and upgrade once you get a greater affix piece.

My guess is yes. They nerfed HotA and Overpower, what's stopping them from changing Flay duration and or gushing wounds? Absolutely nothing lol My opinion is they will nerf gushing wounds back to 110% and scale Flay back by 15 to 20%.

Rend is useless, replace it with warcry asap ,you will have about 100% warcry uptime which is about 20-25% flat out damage, and don’t have to spam chains as much for berserking.

it’s a temper on rogues that’s how i got it

Have to make a rogue and use the marksman temper. The only way to scale the pit! If you don't want to make a rogue use damage to close but it will be significantly less damage.

Better off not using it :/ I did use it and it does buff rend and rend will do more damage but a good ring rolled with crit chance and attack speed is better
