I'm not sure but I think you'll get about as many Lightning Spears with the season 4 Frozen Orb build. Did a bit of napkin math and with the updated Winterglass you'll be summoning about one spear per cast of Frozen Orb. 95% double cast, 3 explosions per cast, 65% chance per explosion to get a random conjuration, that's 1.95 * 3 * 0.65 * 0.33 = 1.25, which is about 3 times better than Spark + Unstable Currents (1.4 * 0.25 = 0.35). Since you won't run the double cast tempers for Lightning Spear your hard casts will only summon two spears instead of four, but on the other hand the ludicrous amount of Frozen Orb explosions will give you an insane amount of cooldown reduction so you can cast it more often. Of course you'll also have the Frozen Orb damage on top of the Splintered aspect, which has been buffed by almost 25% in season 5. So I think the real contender is if you can abuse increases to Lucky Hit Chance and get enough Frozen Orbs (and therefore cooldown reduction) from only Winterglass + Lightning Spear so that you can basically spam Lightning Spear non-stop without ever having to use Spark.

Wudi out here making Lightning Spear happen! One thing to consider is putting either lucky hit Poison or Shadow damage on a weapon/offhand to get that fourth stack from the Tal Rasha ring. If I'm not mistaken, the extra 20% multiplicative damage would be better than more additive crit strike damage.

Took a look at your guide and was wondering why we're not using invocation glyph. Seems like a LOT of crit damage - I'm guessing it doesn't work with with aspect? Also is it really worth it to run a staff over sword and focus?

I’m curious if new fractured will proc the frozen orb enchantment so you don’t have to slot in fire bolt enchant for the extra crit. This build seems very interesting.

So I'm running this insane chain lightning build with Andariels and it might be better than lightning spear. Been one shotting bosses and walking through T8 hordes. And I don't even have Tyraels yet. It's so tanky and I soloed a 4 person Lilith as they stood and watched me one shot her

@@YouOnlyLiveOnce... wow 30x would have ben amazing. Like 300 vurln becomes 9000! Greater buff then Grandfather even. However it is just a tiny buff if you look on your stat pane for vurln. Honestly a real multiplyer would be better 🤪.

@@TheTezoni 30%x so if you have 300 vurl dmg you get 390 vurln damage on your character stats. And this is additive dmg. The increase is very lackluster. Even more so on this build that needs crit dmg for the Lightning spear aspect. Heck you are even better off with a Grand Father.

Every Necro build for a year straight has been Decrepify + Corpse Tendrils + Blood Mist + Bone Storm + Corpse consumption engine for Flesh Eater + the one different skill that's 10 times better than everything else that season. They really need to start looking at the core problems of classes, it's starting to get pretty boring.

I like Sorc Chain Lightning build, it uses so many uniques so Tempering is not a problem and it should be quite cheap to buy other items because most people will go for Fireball/bolt builds

I bought the game on ps5 and I'm experiencing massive rubberbanding. I double checked everything and other Online games work just fine. Does anyone have some insight on what to do? Online forums aren't very helpful.

I would suggest checking which servers the game connects to. Depending on your region you are playing from and the region of your account, the game maybe struggling to connect to the nearest server. I had rubber banding issues with high ping after I moved out of EU, the game was still trying to connect to EU servers. After I changed the region of my account in battle net the connection has been good. I can verify this, when I join a friends session in eu I have about 300 ping.

First, I know the expansions took longer to come out, but every Diablo expansion came with TWO “new” classes. While I like Spiritborn, giving us two different classes each expansion would provide more options in the game other than running the one new class (Diablo Immortal) until people got tired of it and returned to their familiar class. Having both Spiritborn and Paladin come this expansion just makes sense as a design concept.

@@Metallicahardrocker He's right. It went from like 30000% to 6000%. That's 80% less my dude. Also the footage would be from PTR, the aspect that makes this build work got buffed to do 250% more damage to single targets. It won't have boss damage problems.

Dunno how I feel about this. MW to 12/12 just to do what he's doing at 4/12 Tier 100. Then again, shock sorc is not in a great spot rn imo. The class needs help and I'm glad to see it get some, but I don't want it to all be brain-rot easy. I guess it is impossible to balance these games and I have no more expectations.
