Small tip - turn on Advanced Tooltip Compare and Information, especially the Information one, under Gameplay in the Options menu. This will show you crucially the RANGE of the %age of the ability of the weapon or armour or any gear. So say you get a Critical Strike %age increase on a new weapon. With the info ticked, it'll say "+17% Critical Strike Damage [17-24%]", with the [ ] now indicating the lowest and highest %age of that possible roll. Without info ticked, you just get the %age. So if it says [17-24%] and you got 17%, you know this is the lowest value it can roll. Just helps you understand if your roll is "god roll" or not on a certain stat or aspect or whatever.

A few definitions would make this "ultimate beginner guide" better for beginners. Terms used without definitions: Strongholds, Altars, Aspects, Codex, decon (eventually I figured out this means "salvage"). Now, yes, it talks about Altar & Aspect strategies, but it doesn't describe what Altars & Aspects actually ARE. It also mentions the "reputation system" without noting it's called "Renown" in the game. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent guide and thank you for making it. But these are the kinds of things I came to this video for. This guide feels more geared towards "advanced beginners", so to speak.

Don't put good aspects on your main weapon until near endgame. You will be constantly replacing your main weapon as it's your best source of damage so to save a lot of gold put the aspect on an amulet

I'm tempted to get this, but I've never done anything like this before as I'm a FPS player..Halo,Apex legends ..COD and Tactical shooter's like Ready or not and Ground branch! This type of game has never been on my radar but I fancy a change of pace and I'm not sure if I'm getting caught up with the hype right now that's surrounding it! The biggest "tip" I can think of in this day and age: is to actually enjoy the game and just take your time. Most people have seem to forgotten about this, and most videos are going on about on "do or don't do this" while using the word "quick" a lot. Nowadays we pay 70-100 bucks for a game, so don't exhaust yourself with just the grind and reaching end-game to fast, and then go on and complain that there's not enough content. Make your own builds and progress through the game finding things out for yourself. This is my first Diablo game, I love it so far, and I'm going to enjoy it. Even if it takes me a 200hrs play through on my first character in Tier 1.

Hiya!! After loving Diablo & POE for thousands hours of gametime, I think you should cover Dwarven Realms releasing at the end of September, even in its early acess it been a massive blast combining POE-like gearing system combined with Roguelike of Vampire Survivors + Action RPG feeling of BDO in 3rd person being able to animation cancel dashes etc! And the Devs keep pushing out significant updates, changes and fixes daily and the community on discord is really chill and helpful

Nice, i just started a few hours ago ,after some ingame tip or something i figured that we can salvage legendaries for their power and then later put them on new items .. and then i felt so lucky, came across like 7-8 goblins ,got badass weapons with badass class skills , and salvaged them all … at the blacksmith ………. You put the word "beginner" in the title, but this is very advanced subject matter. I have spent more than an hour wandering around in the first area, going in and out of the tavern, clicking the NPCs, trying to figure out how to move beyond the town. For reference, I have logged thousands of hours on original Diablo, Hellfire, Diablo 2, and Diablo 3 - never had trouble figuring out where to go next. D4 is VERY un-intuitive by comparison. Do you have a "how to get past the first tavern" tutorial?

There's a quest log and it shows you where to go. Open your map, then open the questlog from there (it's on the right side).
