Diablo 4 Werewolf Druid Build Guide

I love shred druid, i think its my favorite build but i have to point out some things on your skills and gear choises that will tromentusly improve your druid. 1. You picked Lupine ferocity so in essence the ideal scenario is that your 6th werewolf skill will be 3rd Shred combo attack which hits harder, but for your basic abilities you picked claw which is also warewolf ability. This means that during your gameplay you ll have many instances that you ll proc Lupine ferocity on the very weak claw and you ll desync your shreds. The solution for this one is to use stormstrike, which generates more fury, wont desync your 6th attack and 3rd shred attack and most importantly it applies vulnerable 2. You dont have vulnerable proc effects. This means that your are missing one of the 5 multipliers that determine your damage (1.Willpower, 2. Crit/crit dmg , 3.Vulnerable, 4. +% Damage (like dmg vs slow, dmg vs healthy ), 5. x% Damage (like glyphs) 3. You are using the legendary power Blurred beast on your ring. This should be on your weapon cause it's your main source of damage and it should be on your 2handed weapon to double the effect (180%). This legendary power is the main reason that you shouldnt use raging shred but instead, Primal shred which allows you to dash on every hit of the combo thus procking the legendary power more often. Using this legendary power, also means that most of the time you should not stay in melee range. Your rotation should be, poison creeper, dash with shred, run back then dash and repeat. Combine this with spirit boon that resets companion active skills and you ll be ready to execute this creeper-shred combo every few seconds. 4. A couple of legendary powers are questionable, specificaly those that have to do with your companions. You are using the Shepherd's when you only have one companion active for a negligible 7% dmg. You are also using bestial wrath for companios but your only companion is the worst one for this power since it attacks only once every 7 seconds. There are a ton more things I could suggest to optimise this build but if i mention all the rest it will completely change your build and this is not my goal. But if you just make some fine tuning to adress just these 4 your druid will be vanquishing full room of enemies in a mater of a few seconds.

I'm soaking all this in and will try these things. I am doing something I've never done in an arpg before and that's to not look at build guides. I love your suggestions and I am going to log in soon and tinker some. You are awesome and I wouldn't mind if you said more.

I actually like that he did not do those things, he took a FUN approach to the werewolf build instead of trying to maximize damage...maximizing fun is better and sometimes maximizing damage does not maximize the fun factor 😊

could you help me with the type of poison build you're talking about? i want a strong one as i dont like following the meta with bear and pure storm wolf.

Hi dude love the content, i have a question i have none of the above legendary gear. What would you suggest for me to use until i find some. I am currently level 50 druid with wt3 unlocked .

Thanks for saying. I just built around my gear until I found something that works. When you get to WT3 you will start finding pieces you can build around.

Im running something similar, i just wanted to be a werewolf. No spells, just tooth n claw. I have similar tankiness, but got mopped in the t3 capstone dungeon by the boss. He just hits so much harder than everything else in t3. Im curious how this holds up there. Keep at it brother!

idk if this would be the build for HC... but i would like to see this build make it to 1-60 in HC... ive died so many times pushing a werewolf build in HC

Just feel this is weak once you get 60+. In world tier 4 you might need to switch lacerate with grizzly rage and combo with aspect to affect werewolf. Been thinking of switching back once I get better and optimized gear for werewolf though and would love to see this in world tier 4.

It's taking you a long time, and you're taking a lot more damage than a pulv druid would be if they just mashed out some pulv and earth spikes. Blizzard just needs to buff the other aspects of druid, and fix their loot tables so that other builds can shine. This SHOULD be more viable, it's a fine build, but that side of the tree is just not well balanced.

Thanks for telling me. I originally found this build shortly after level 50, I needed to find a way to not die so much. I have looked at no other build guides in this game. I am going to stick with it, it has gotten a bit faster with some paragon points, however. Crits a lot more. What class do you think is the best at clearing? I have watched no other guides.
