The item is decent but not crazy good since theres only 3 stat. So you basically loose 60% dmg on a good stat at ilvl800 vs a good xbow. It's a good leveling xbow tho which i believe is the purpose of those unique boss drop

These rare monsters are spelled out the warning notices for travelers that are posted in the towns nearby. The notice will name the monster and tell you where it is. I killed the big scorpion twice before I realized it was always going to drop a dagger which my barb couldn't use.

'Nine Eyes' is the unique scorpion. If you're using daggers as a Rogue, you can at least get the transmog from it (broodmother's Stinger), that drips glowing venom and looks pretty sweet.

There is a list of all the rare mobs in the game Its a challenge and its called Trophy Hunter. You can find it under Map -> Challenges -> Open World

Got an 825 crossbow today after hours of farming. The spawn rates are weird and dependent on the amount of players and the instance. If you're solo, he can take up to 14 minutes to respawn. 5 players or more he respawned on average every 5 minutes. Also every time a new player shows up you will get 2 back to back spawns within 1 minute of each other. It also appears if you are under level 70 you will mostly get sacred drops even in WT4.

The mage that splits up in fractured peaks is amazing for sorcerers during leveling. I just make sure I have my essential aspects on the rest of the gear, grind for 5-6 levels, when I realize my damage is starting to fall of, I kill the mage a couple of times and get a new weapon. It always has 3 types of elemental damage, so you can just roll off the damage-type you're not using and get some int instead, use a decent aspect from the codex that you can re-use infinitely, suddenly you get a nice damage-increase and can grind the next 5-6 levels. That way you don't have to pick up every item you find, in case it gives you like 5% damage boost, because you know in a couple of levels you're guaranteed to get a better weapon by killing the same dude 3-4 times and he's really close to the bear-tribe encampment WP. That weapon easily carried me from level 24 onwards to 60+. you can probably do that in T4 as well, get an ancestral lvl 70 version, but then you'll probably find an ancestral legendary for your build that will be better pretty soon and leveling just takes longer then anyway.

This works on quest rewards too, I managed to get a 844 sword at level ~70 and fully upgraded it has 1500 dps. What's strange is that it came with attack speed instead of crit damage, but after adding an aspect it changed the attack speed to crit damage.

I'm using a ring of decay from that tree unique monster. It has crit chance, dmg to vuln and dmg to close with pretty high rolls. Pretty useful for all classes I'd say. Using it for quiet some time now. I rolled the vulnerable damage at the occultist.

*User Beware:* I gotta sacred rare 2H weapon with 706 base. So I upgraded it until it was 706+25=731. Then I imprinted a Legendary to it and the Preview displayed it as 728, which I was fine with because it was still above 725. After the Imprint process, it went back to 706 and was considered fully upgraded meaning it can’t be upgraded further. That really, really sucked because the imprint I used to upgrade it had better stats and higher total Attack Power. Lesson learned: stick with what you got if its good. If it has a BASE power level that’s above the cap, then it’s worth upgrading only.

The item’s power level does not change when imprinting. Imprinting only does what the name implies - it imprints a legendary effect onto the item. The power level preview is quite misleading given that it incorporates any upgrades, but it’s not like you actually lose those upgrades upon imprinting (at least, not without encountering a bug).

That should be well above the power level to get me to Torment where I can repeat the process and get something above the 850 base power level, then enhance it 5x to get 875

I think it depends if you manage to roll for exemple crit damage vulnerable and main stats its better because if the higher max stats on a 4 stats 750 weapon the 4th stats is usually an additive one so +15 crit damage and vulnerability > 4 stats

If the increase is large enough then yes. Try it out a bit see the real effect of it. I have a personal touch on one of the more common Rogue ranged builds and I see good improvement from a +50 dps. Remember that the additional stats are also measured out of raw dps.

I started killing the demon on west beach of dry steppes after the 6/14 patch and he keeps bugging out. He normally turns into a man shortly after the fight starts but now he stays a demon and won’t die and won’t fight back. He also spawns as level 67 instead of 73+ like everything else.

Hey Woodi just wanted to get the info out there. I've dropped an Ancestral Wand with 824 Item Power and 4 stats going by, - Core Spell dmg - Dmg to Slowed Enemies -Dmg to Crowd Controled Enemies -Dmg to Chilled Enemies lvl 100 req. I've dropped the Wand in a NM Dungeon at Tier 60-70 ish can't remember exactly, so it would mean that the Item Power cap isn't 820. Thanks alot for the video and stay strong with your grind !

I'm not sure what is the min level for an ancestral drop, I got my 843 item level ancestral drop at level 74...I suspect minimum level is 70.

On closer inspection the rare spawns are the same lvl as your character (not the zone lvl) so unless you are lvl 70 ancestral gear can't drop I believe.

The giant scorpion called Nine-Eyes in act 2 (cant remember the exact location) It loots a dagger called Broodmother's stinger. It's meant to play a poison build. EDIT : it's in Khejistan, between the forgotten ruins and heretic asylum dungeons.

There is a special monster called "Nine-eyes" near the Iron Wolves Encamptment (Southwest of Kyovashad) that drops a rare dagger called Broodmother's Stinger. To help find the creature, from the town warp point, cross over the bridge and read the bulletin board (it will place a shining marker on the map) EDIT: Confirmed Act 3 spawn (Running timer tests)

Idk exactly how sacred and ancestral stuff works, but power level is pretty simple, it dictates the scaling of your item stats with certain stat values like 625 and 725 being "breakpoints" between Stat tiers

You dont get new affixes, they just roll higher. The difference is that sacred items can roll up to 700 ilvl and ancestral up to 820 (ish). There is an item breakpoint at ilvl 825 btw, so getting an item above ilvl 800 is good for all items as you can then pass the last breakpoint (where all affixes upgrade to a higher range)

Well you aint gonna get anything 800+ in t3. Out the box at lvl 69 in t4 im getting trash loots around 780-790. But i just got here so ill need a bigger sample size. I never got a drop higher than 705 in t3 but i could just be unlucky.

Problem is that there are 3 stats not 4. Losing a whole stat type is a nerf regardless of 20 levels higher.
