Diablo 4 Will Not Make it

I have 3 level 100 characters now!!! Before season 4, one at level 60! 4 has definitely retained me. I’m at 80 with my rogue, then i will take a Druid to 100. After that, I’m thinking to finally try hardcore! I really like season 4. Before it came out, i hadn’t touched D4 in for months! Was considering going back to D3 or immortal on my iPad.

The game is good right now. I play it a lot and having fun. I really tried to find what's bad but this season is kinda good and lots of things are better and the leveling that was really bad is great and fast and FUN.

Someone teach Rhykker that having a "deal 1000% more damage" modifier on a mosnter doesn't make it "more difficult" it just makes it deal more damage. There's no such thing as "difficult" in D4, the hardest boss has exactly 3 telegraphed attacks

So on console i can create infinite accounts for free and dupe, i only need psn liive and you can play 2 player at same time with infinite accounts

I just got the game 3 days ago on sale on steam. Im enjoying it but the world does seem dead. Im not sure how many folkes you are supposed to see running around at once but im on level 45 as of today and ive seen like 5 to 8 people on the map with me in that time. Maybe its because im in the earlier areas i dont know.

These are some of the worst takes I've ever seen in a video. I'm not going to take someone who infers that the horadric cube is a D3 thing and that a Stygian Stone is a currency. If you haven't played in a while and have no idea what state the game is in, just say, you obviously don't know that you can get 3 characters to level 100 and get under 10 Stygian Stones. Because that happened to me. Even the fact that you couldn't wrap your head around why 100 of each of the duriel summoning items would give you 50 times of killing him just goes to show, you have not even come close to the end of the game, so why would I listen to your very obviously biased opinion?

Why do people care about how many others are playing or all those analytics? Life is short. The only thing that should matter is if you enjoy spending your time playing the game. I couldn't care less if a single other person is playing the game as long as I'm personally having fun. Are we not the generation that grew up on single player games and no multiplayer?

First 3 seasons I lasted 7 to 10 days at most. season 4, I am still playing after a month. three level 100 characters, still working on building all of them. Previous season, you'd go to a world boss, there would be 3 or 4 people max. Legion event, lucky if you weren't alone. Today, you have a 8 to 10 people at world boss or legion events everytime I go to them. I never used to see people in helltide, now I can't go 1 min without running into someone. So to me, it says it all, Diablo 4 has kept a lot more players going thihs season then any previous ones.

Yes, we definitely see other players a lot more. But i will say I usually saw that many players ast World Boss or Legion events too (at least 5 others), depending on the time of day. Sometimes super late night Legion events I wouldn't see anyone before.

season retained me 100%, getting all classes to 100 and still playing. Diablo might not be a good game in your opinion but it definitely is fun , i love the season

Season 4 has kept me playing, 4 softcore and my first hardcore at 100. Season 3 i didnt even play to 80 on 1 character. Done with it now though but tempering needs to be changed, at endgame its a nightmare. 3 days to find upgrade, upgrade lost in 30 seconds.

yeah cause all the other ARPGs will just sit and watch D4 get updates for 6 years and not do any updates of their own, right? D4, currently, after the big "season 4 good" update - is still worse than Titan Quest, which released in 2006. It has A LOT of ARPGs to overcome before it can compete with even the mobile cashgrab that is Torchlight infinite, let alone the big ones like Grim Dawn, Last Epoch or POE... oh and POE2 comes out in November, good luck with that player retention when the late october expansion hits

Lol they are not bots. I have played this season and all of my friends have more than season 2 but after three weeks or so I am now finally pulling back given the pit/master-working is getting tedious and builds are still limited for druid

I've also seen a lot of players flock and return to the game with friends of friends telling them 'it got better' since season 2.

And if it (the bot accounts) really kicked off right after S4, when tons of people who ditched the game at the end of the second season came back to see the new updates, wouldn't more botted accounts to farm gold be more plausible? Granted, I don't know how the process works, so i'm throwing my observations around here.

@@ultrabash5 First of all the amount of gold sellers YOU saw is anecdotal, they were there from launch, there were still websites selling gold, just like now. Secondly, there is literally zero indication that botting kicked off after S4. Thirdly people usually come back at the start of each season and if you want to make the argument that botting increased as a response to player increase, then you're admitting that there's a player increase, even though botting doesn't work like that. Fourthly, gold selling and botting aren't necessarily related, a lot of gold selling is done by boosters, boss carries and stuff like that. Lastly, this isn't about what's plausible, this moron here in his video is extremely confident that those are bots without a single shred of evidence, while pointing that gold selling exists which has always been here and it exists in every online game.

The key is the paragon tree. Took me three respecs to fully understand how to customize the tree. Also heard some glyphs aren’t working properly… so i don’t install them.

@@BokushingusKendoTV The paragon "tree" is even more braindead. You pretty much have no choice when it comes to boards, some don't even work for any one build, the legendary nodes are either boring dmg multipliers, where again, max 2-3 even work for any one build, the rare nodes are dmg increase or dmg reduction and most glyphs are just more damage. Nothing in the paragon has any impact on how your class plays.

@@becausecontextmatters5260 they are definitely working though, because before i respec, couldn’t get over pit level 15. With same gear after respec, washed through to 35 with no problem. I figure Ill start masterworking today to keep rising.

@@BokushingusKendoTV I don't know how you managed to mess up your paragon so bad, especially now in S4 where the added damage doesn't matter as much as it did in previous seasons, that it made 20 pit levels difference. I think to thing the chance wasn't paragon alone, which again, there is considerable power in it, but it's just that, more damage and more toughness, nothing that would actually affect how your character plays.

@@becausecontextmatters5260 i 💭 just chased max damage and had the wrong glyphs slotted that gave no advantage to my tree choices. Yeah it was a totally jacked build. But fixed it. Yeah I’m leveling a rogue right now and the board choices are useless. Did a Completely fire sorcerer and the boards were much better. But i just got off work… going to get me a few hours before bed with rogue.
