My maaaan, thank you! I spent days to get my ports collection enabled in OnionOS 4.1 when it was removed, just to play Diablo. The V4.2 Port Collection looked straight forward, but I had spent hours trying to figure out which files were in the wrong folder; this alone, saved me so much time. ;-;

I was playing Diablo on the ps1 emulator and it was alright. The port is fantastic though. Not only do the visuals look way better than the ps1 version, it controls way better too.

Dude I love these ports tutorials. I've been trying to fill out the ports Library but I'm surprised at how mismanaged some of the files on archive/ ROM websites are. Some games would be missing a required file in the archival upload, so I'd search other archives and links and sometimes I still can't find the files I'm looking for. Some ports I did manage to Frankenstein together! This is all a massive aside tho! I wanted to ask about Satelleview games. I tried to get them running on the Miyoo Mini but was kind of stuck since I don't read moon runes. Any advice? Perhaps a Tutorial?

Yes there is! The same engine used to run it on the Miyoo Mini is also available for Android. It's called DevilutionX and is available on Google Play: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.diasurgical.devilutionx Check the full install instructions on the Google Play store page "About the game" section. Little confused, so the Onion Ports Collection that we download shows a folder/files for Diablo (devolutionX), but it's not playable without buying from GOG and copying additional files over?

That's right. The ports collection files are typically the engine or software that runs the game (in this case Devolution X), but does not include copyrighted material (i.e. the game files themselves).

No, unfortunately Mini Plus doesn't support PS1 multiplayer.

The PS1 version didn't support network, it was only hot seat. I don't think it will be easy for two players to use the same Miyoo Mini Plus at the same time :D If someone can get TCP networking working on the Miyoo Mini it should be possible to play with others who runs DevilutionX (even on other platforms).

The SCUMMVM version already boots and plays, but at about .0001 frames a second 😅 it's way too graphically intensive I think.

Not sure about scrolls actually, I'm guessing you just have to do it from the inventory. Potions are used with the shoulder buttons

What if I wanna keep the original OS but with another sd card, I've read the one that comes with it is prone to failure?

@@karwoski91 The original Miyoo OS isn't located on the SD card as far as I'm aware, as you can remove the SD and observe that the base OS is still there. Though if you want to keep the files and games that came with the stock SD card, back them up on your computer ASAP. My stock SD LITERALLY died within 10 minutes while I was using my PC to inspect its library, I didn't even have the chance to try any games and the thing died. I currently have my retro library backed up in 4 places from just that experience alone, getting burned once with no backup was...frustrating. Tried a cheaper 32gb SD card that I used for my EZboy, it was servicable. I'd recommend going with a higher end SanDisk SD with a decent write speed, as that'll improve load times when going between menus on the OS. I don't know what was wrong with that 32GB SanDisk SD, but it would take 10-20 seconds to bootup, load roms, and struggled with the game switcher function. Upgrading to a 256GB SanDisk SD with 190mb/s write speeds improved it to 2-4 second load times, and provided enough space for me to store all of Futurama and Supernatural with space to spare.
