I hope I get into the beta since I couldn't get into the alpha. Good vid. I know its still in testing and can see the graphical glitches and the neon green shako but im still looking forward to this game. Hammerdin was always meta in game but I hope the buff the other not so well builds that synergize so everyone doesn run the same builds in the remaster.

I don't really like that holy shield is just slapped on top of the actual shield instead of transforming it entirely. A cool change would be if holy shield transformed its appearance based on what type of shield you were using. Round version if a targe or rondache. Long version if a heraldic etc.

@@fossiexe1 there are some videos of people teleworking around and switching back and forth to the original graphics and the new. And it confirms that though the fcr is the same, the increased Frame rate on the new graphics makes it look much slower than with the older graphics. It's gonna take some getting used too. Especially if you've been playing since its release in 2000.

I'm sure it's just a glitch that'll be fixed, only the Barbarian, Sorceress and Amazon were officially playable during the alpha. I used a tool to convert some of my high level characters to be playable, that's why I can also access hell mode.

they removed the cross, because it offends those who hate God. Cross is the symbol of victory over death by Jesus Christ, who died for the sin of mankind. D1 and D2 had lots of crosses, even as decorations. War2 had even things like Deo Gratias on the church, It was already with WC 3 where they censored the altar for hero resurrection. That means, censorship against the cross began as soon as 2002. When you click on altar for humanb faction, it says Hallelu - end. Silence. Because it normally follows with YAH. Halleluyah. Yah is the name of God, as in Yahweh, the One, who is. This surely offends.

@@UncommonS3nse there are 2 differences though. 1. This is more of a cloth, a hood covering the head than having a cap shape. 2. The old one is of darker, military green color. This one is bright, neon green which looks both hideous and unsuitable for a dark, gritty game.

Just a little rant: I’ve played Blizzard Games for more than 20 years. From the day D1 came out for offline I’ve spent some time almost every day playing DI, DII, DIII, Starcraft, Warcraft, and WOW.
