16:20 for the charateristic of the runeword, the concentration aura and the 300% to attack rating this is more focus on the build that lacks of hitting the enemy target rather than damge the target, maybe for those characters that are low level or the enemy have a huge defense, and makes them difficult to hit.

300% bonus to attack rating is very nice if you have attack rating. Keep in mind it adds nothing if you have nothing. Most skills give +% because of this +flat attack rating tends to be more powerful. Even with this item in mind 100AR would be 300 AR with this item. Most Characters have +1000% AR From various sources.

I’ve been on the fence about making a Pride for my Summon Necro merc. After watching this I definitely want to make one for him. Stacking Might and Concentration with the Fanaticism from my Beast I think would be super deadly. Thanks Ging

No, Pride freezes target and shatters corpses which will be very detrimental for the build you are trying to make.

@@steeldragonjovi it works great, I use pride on my merc, iron golem is made from a beast and I use a infinity for extra lower def. Its worth the merc shattering some of the monsters when you can go and get the army started in act5

This RW is one of the very few redeeming qualities of a cham rune. Shame it's so expensive, though, most physical builds could make very good use of this, most notably a bowazon. You'd have the trifecta of the damage increasing auras with the right setup: might, concentration and fanaticism.

Pretty much, infinity doesn't really help a summon necro much.

Infinity helps your army hit more often and increases the damage of your Corpse Explosions. Pride increases army damage and does nothing for the Necro himself.

After learning that Concentration only give half of it damage to Blessed Hammer, I give this RW to my merc and take 20 point on Concentration to Defiance as my active aura

Concentration as you main aura is basically a requirement for Hammerdins. While it might work to have the merc use pride you are missing out on a tremendous amount of damage output. If you want defiance you can just have the merc run defiance, or you could use a Exile shield and get defiance for free. There is no other aura that boosts the damage of Blessed Hammers, Might Does not add any damage to hammers, Fanaticism Does not add any damage to hammers, Blessed Aim Does nothing for hammers, Conviction Does nothing for hammers, ect, ect.

I am using this one on my Auradin's mercenary for, uhm, erm, lez guess together, even MORE auras MAYBE??? %) Auradin uses double Dream, Last Wish and own Conviction and merc uses Pride, Dream helm as well, own Holy Freeze and Bramble armor just because why not. Swapping to Fortitude for Chilling Armor proc.

Yes You can stack quite a few auras together. Same Auras from items also stack together, For instance two Dream rune words with lvl 15 holy shock each stack to make lvl 30 holy shock. However you can't use paladins native Holy Shock with the Items Holy Shock they aren't compatible.

Amplify damage/decrepify will boost tornado, but concentration won't. Because tornado is a spell and not an attack it works differently.

If you are referring to the buff to tornado decrepify is -50% resistance. Pride is plus damage. Negative resistance trump's plus damage most of the time.

@@richardhaw9757 “Beast” for a summon necromancer weapon is a poor choice as you want a weapon focused more on skills. “Faith” on a rogue mercenary is probably the best as summon necro weapon.

If you don't have Enigma the merc is often stuck behind the scelleton armee anyway. I would love to Test it after the when skell mages hopefully will bei strong enough to skill them. Concentration might be a thing for them if they can be interupted with damage

Hey i play noov for barb. Dual swing with 2 griefs, arreaat face, layin of hands, immortal boots, atmas scarab amulet for amplify, nosferatu belt 10% ias, ravenfrost ring. Fortitude armor. I have act 2 merc. Sttill regular armors i want fkrtituude for hom and ady visage, but still not found. Ok ao now i have all runes for pride but how it will best base weapon for good DPS and good speed for lifesteal for him. I have tresher eth rrady but is something better? Merc have might so i hope that 260% might damabe it will work with concentratiton 345% so it will be 260 + 345 = 605% yes? And this work with griiefs 435 damage yes? Thank you for answer

It doesn't work very well for a necro summoner. It's not the low damage it's the destruction of the corpses. Nearly everything is destroyed.

Pride comes before a fall and so it is with this runeword. I found it useless. Easily outclassed in the niche area it is used for (summons).

Not really quite sure I agree, Just because it has no Enhanced Damage on it doesn't mean the Ethereal 50% bonus is useless. In fact I would argue the opposite. That because the weapon has no ED on it that makes the Ethereal 50% bonus all that more important. Mercs still need damage to life leech off of even if they are not being used for their dps. So even if the case of a merc using Pride strictly to deliver Concentration to a necros army for instance the merc having slightly more physical damage then he would otherwise have is important to help keep him alive.
