They obviously want the whole series and having one on there doesn’t mean they’ll put the rest on there especially since most people bought D2R/D3 on Blizzard/Activisions launcher already since they’ve been out for so long, and again, profits. They’re notoriously greedy af, I’d be shocked to see them released on steam. D4 was probably a PR move more than anything else, like Borderlands 3 ended up becoming…at least I think it was B3, I think originally it was meant to be epic store only and people threw a fit about it, understandably so I might add.

I'm fairly new to Diablo but I have a LVL 78 necromancer that's in the eternal realm. From what I'm reading I can't play the new seasonal content with that character? Am I missing something? Why do I have to completely start over on a new character?

yes sadly, eternal is much like a base game, but seasonal get an updated content regularly, but i think the weapon customizing update is applied in all realm

Dude, it will take you about 6-8 hours of relaxed gameplay to make your 1 lvl character become 80. Besides, new crafting system is also available in eternal realms if you want to play your current character. Not much of a problem

I love how they made the aspect imbueable from the Occultist. I remember hoarding them during season 1 and 2 (skipped 3) in fear of accidentally losing a valuable one. They must've occupied 3 tabs of my chest. This season is a massive improvement from the previous ones.

Not really. Season 4 was ALWAYS going to be the inventory/Loot overhaul season. They said so back last Summer. Everything is all planned out well in advance. “D4 Bad” nerds on the internet want to take credit for the game improving.

I'd say hold off. S2 was decent but then they dropped the ball with s3 on the surface this appears to be the update the playerbase requested... but if they do to tempering what they did with the construct rune of s3 it would still mean wasting hours doing thousands of boss runs regardless to get the abilities you want.

If you haven't played since season 1 then S4 will feel like a new game to you. A lot of stuff is fixed and a lot of stuff is added. Game feels way better now, especially after S1 and S3 which both sucked huge balls.

I cannot imagine them doing this anytime soon, D3 is still online only and it has much less online parts than D4. So unless they coded it with offline in mind I highly doubt it. Also main monetization is shop and battle pass, they won't make it offline I'm sure. For me as a solo player online brings 0 purpose. Random other players in town make no sense and all world events I'm doing alone anyway. I'm glad there are no issues with ping or connection at least.

The tempering system still needs work to be more deterministic. The bloat affixes are still there and there's a good chance to get nothing of use at all and brick the item. I'm sure nobody would go mad if you actually copied LE system~

It would be nice if it stopped closing/crashing on it's own for no apparent reason. Even Windows Event shows no application log of a crash. Even with the so-call workaround to down grade settings and disable frame generation doesn't fix it. Even turning off cross play and communication doesn't help. Why is it this patch it does this but even since prelaunch it never has?
