Did the math, in 5 minutes if you are being really efficient the average amount of winter proofs you can get is 1.76. There is a cost of 440 midwinter proofs to get all of the cosmetics meaning at 21.12 an hour it would take you over 20 hours of straight grinding to get all the cosmetics. Considering It's holiday season, and most people don't have that much time it would be more efficient to just get enough for whatever cosmetic you really like and then stop playing the event. Unless you're keen on wasting time killing the exact same stuff over and over without actually being able to farm anything worthwhile while doing the event, go for it lol

Seasonal events/content/whatever is fun, I guess....But I'm old school and what I really want is a proper expansion with a new class, new areas/maps, new monsters, new loot, and a continuation of the story.

My regular group started on seasonal. We had delay, and ended up with our characters - halfway through the campaign - moved to Eternal. Since they were primarily playing for us all to go through the campaign together (they have little interest in end-game play), they're all pretty much locked out of this. Classy move, Bliz.

Apparently it seems to be a very weak/shallow event, it's blizzard it's complicated and it's ruining my affection for this franchise day after day, at least the monsters must increase the level otherwise the orb mages will melt these repurposed goats, not even to create a pitiful new monster.
