Incredible lore without a doubt. Congratulations, it's going to be great to play this expansion. But the concept of Unformed Land first came in Diablo III with the Witch Doctor, who had ease in interacting with the spiritual world, as he himself mentions in the character's intro. Even his summons come from there... it is said in Diablo III that Fetishes are creatures from the spiritual realm that are friends with WD. Since the class will not return, I believe that both Witch Doctor and the Umbaru people deserved at least a mention. I hope they appear in the campaign. It would be sad to see the DIV team ignore previous lore just because the class was less successful than the others. The lore has already established the people of Umbaru in Teganze, please don't forget them.

Diablo staff has a habit of rehashing other characters/lore into making us think it's entirely "new". I always thought the WD was a biproduct of the Necromancer. Even some of the monsters are rehashed. Just look at the exploding dude in D4. His attacks are so similar to the exploding aboms in D3, it's tasteless. I'll still play, though. Diablo has always been my favorite series.

No mention of the Land of the Dead, the Unformed Land aka Mbwiru Eikura? Nothing about Malthael consuming spirits from the Spirit Realm? Nothing about the Necromancers who came from deep within the Jungles of Kehjistan where they long remained shrouded in mystery? What about Teganze, the home of the Umbaru, a vast region of the Toraju Jungles, aka Nahantu where the origins of the Witch Doctor class lie? It's kind of shocking you guys just seemingly retconned all the lore and culture you built up before.. Apart from being very strong and having many layers of depth in the class design (unlike some of the original classes, Rogue noticeably, there's really not much originality in this new class.. I was hoping the excising classes could get fleshed out a little more and see some depth and for the classes to get brought a bit closer together in terms of balance and then as an additional class without just ignoring/overwriting the already excising lore I wouldn't have any issues with it but as it stands now I'm just kind of perplexed, I guess. It's like having 3 daughters and you adopt the son you always wanted and give him this incredible room with a new computer, tv, brand new furniture, carpet, wallpaper, tons of space, etc. And 2 of your daughters live like Harry Potter under the stairs, stinky and stashed away with barely anything for themselves beyond the clothes they wear.. The third daughter in this analogy is the Barb, which has nothing to complain about. Has her own room, computer, tv and everything, she's the only one who gets introduced when the new son arrives and who's invited to come along.

With each video you guys release I'm getting more and more convinced that the "desert jewel" mentioned in Rathma's prophecy is actually Lut Gholein, not Caldeum, and that the hatred's heart that will be pierced by a spear of light will be Mephisto's, not Lilith's. Inarius didn't even aim for Lilith's heart! Also, since the spirit guardians take the aspects of elements (fire, lightning and such) could it be that the spirit realm is also the source of Mana, the energy taped by sorcerer's to cast their elemental abilities?

If we talk about improvements, I would like to hear some interesting soundtrack. As for me, it is very tedious and boring (this is related to the current issue). Maybe there is a lack of some epicness in the moments of battles, otherwise the monotony makes the process of killing mobs very tedious. I understand that you wanted to make it more realistic - if there is snow, then it is hard and cold. If it’s dirt, then that’s what you see on the street. And if there is a battle, then you don’t hear songs during your own battles? But maybe there’s just not enough ambient that would hint that something interesting is happening now. That's why I had to turn off the music in the game and turn on my own. If we talk about the next point, the problem is the delivery of content in the campaign. It's like SC2, where you do the same thing and nothing surprises you anymore. So here too - the same dungeons and the same boss. And if you are also forced to kill all the units there, then you initially begin to pray that at least this time they will not be forced to do this. At a minimum, adding at least some variability, otherwise after 30 hours, the same dungeon with the same boss is not inspiring. Remove the mechanic of having to kill everyone. If I want, I'll kill everyone myself. This is probably the most unpleasant thing that a newcomer to Diablo 4 has had to face. You took many of the open world aspects from Lost Ark - this is an excellent example of a good game. Do not stop! Look now what new things have happened to them this year. There is little point in looking towards PoE, you have a completely different game, and you still don’t fully understand how to assemble it correctly. One way or another, I would like more variety. It won’t be difficult for you to change one model for another, as well as add some mechanics, like bringing something else to open the door, but this can help a beginner not get tired in the first hours of the game.
