Let me just say, I have not ordered anything from Thrilljoy so I have not had a bad or good experience with them. However I think Brian is not a novice, he does know the ups and downs of this business. I think this has been bad business for Thrilljoy and alot of customers are upset. I think it's good they are trying to fix the problems. I do think customers are key to any business and there experience is gonna make or break a company. I will not be buying from Thrilljoy because they are way to big for me to put in my collection unless they came out with something smaller. I don't come here for Thrilljoy though. I come here because I love Mischief Toys. The products, the people, and Chris and Heather. I hope that would be enough to make me welcome regardless of how I feel about other companies in the collectable field.✌️❤

I only have the Pix! that I got while attending NYCC currently (I have a handful of other ones on my Christmas list, hopefully Santa is good to me 😂) so I can’t speak to missing out on an order I placed a month ago, but if I did I couldn’t imagine being mad with the EXTREMELY generous solution Thrilljoy has provided. Just a heads up statement would’ve sufficed IMO, but the refund for the late order AND free shipping on the next order is crazy. I’ve seen people saying they are trying to cancel their orders because they didn’t get them! Am I taking crazy pills?! I don’t get it. I am very much in on Thrilljoy and this has only cemented that decision for me.

I order the Mars Attack Pix and still waiting on my order to be shipped. I looked up my order and it said Martian Soldier which indicates I did not get one of the chases. I'm not happy that they destroyed my excitement to see if I got the chase or the 24 piece when i received my order. Very disappointed. This will be my first and only order with them.

How do you know that means it's not a chase? When other companies have a chance at a chase, if it's the chase is a different character, they still list the order as the common name. character

I did get my bloo orders in a timely manner. My ninja turtle I am still waiting I did get an email refunding my shipping. Then like 15 minutes later I got tracking for the shipping of my item. Thrilljoy went above and beyond they didn't need to do that. Amazing customer service. Great products

Definitely think Thrilljoy went above and beyond and the refund and free shipping on the next order. I would have been fine with nothing but an update. But I did use the code 😅 Today I did have to message them about the free shipping code not working on Moo Deng (It wasn’t set up to be used for a pre order) but they fixed it quickly. I think they are doing all they can as a new company. People need to realize that just because Brian has CEO experience doesn’t mean he has experience in all aspects of the business such as shipping. Give them a break! They are seeing the faults are fixing them for future drops. That’s what matters!

You are correct, and you are showing your bias, but you forgot to mention one thing, when comparing the companies, Yes Funko is larger, has more employees, and have been around longer but they also do way more volume of sales and customs delays can happen no matter how long you have been in business or how many employees work for you. Also, I am unaware of when Funko tells their customers when they will receive their orders and fell short. They purposely do not give specific dates, maybe the NFTS have had delays, (like the transformers delay but I'm pretty sure they told people about it) also that is a collab with Dropp, and the delivery of the NFTs are put into quarters of the year not giving a specific date, and they do not charge shipping whatsoever. It's hard to complain when you didn't pay for shipping to begin with. Yes Thrill joy is brand new but everyone running it has been in the toy business for many years so to act like they are unaware or surprised of how the business works is disingenuous. I myself would understand and would not be upset at the delay, but being seasoned in the toy business they should have known this was a possibility. In sales people only remember when you go above and beyond, or if you F up. Giving a refund for shipping is a nice gesture and hopefully people will get their orders soon.

Funko has told retailers when preorders would come in and have set release dates for them, and they have not made it in time, which plays a huge role in a lot of smaller Funko centric retailers shutting down, as well as Funko doing more DTC. They have also announced pops at cons, but have been unprepared at times (Luffy on one of the ships at NYCC a couple of years ago is one that really stands out because it was a hot item). Yes, international customers pay for NFT shipping. Regardless, they should meet the deadlines, as they are typically close to a year after the drop date. There has been one time in recent memory where there was an issue with a Droppp drop where we were given a vague explanation and it was being made right. We praised Funko/Droppp for that. That is ALL we feel is necessary as consumers when something unexpected happens - communication. Shit happens, but we shouldn't be left in the dark as consumers. We are not saying Thrilljoy isn't experienced - they obviously are. But they are also not the big beast that Funko is, they don't have the amount of employees Funko does, the warehouses Funko does, the systems Funko does. We feel they have made a few mistakes in how things have been handled, but they have not only explained what happened (again, something Funko never does), but they have refunded customers AND offered free shipping on their next order. We are team forgiveness. Hopefully they learn a lot from this and kill it!

Its not that they are trash, i just think its more like the business hats are on in reviewing things on videos, which is understandable because you have learned more than your audience know because of your progression into the toy business yourselves 😊❤❤❤

Our relationship with Brian has nothing to do with this. If you've watched our Funko videos, you know that we BEG for communication. We can clearly see Thrilljoy has made mistakes. We are not denying that. However, the fact that they explained what is happening is admirable, and the fact that they went above and beyond to make it right is incredible. Funko very rarely offers an explanation (we recall that happening once in recent times), and if something is delayed - oh well! Yes, of course we have learned a lot more having a business of our own, and it definitely shows. It's hard, we learn new things every single day, and we grow from it. We expect to be treated with respect, even when we mess up, so for us to treat another company like garbage for messing up would be wrong. It would be different if they were taking customers money and running (Krakens Collectibles, Big Apple, Pop In A Box...) or giving NO updates at all. As far as we are concerned, they're doing what's right!

The only time we ever get refunded from Amazon is when we return something and are owed a refund. We don't believe in stealing at all. I am confused by your comment, can you please elaborate?

Criticism that is valid is not a bad thing. I do think on KZbin comments you get very stupid and unfair comments that don't deserve respect. But thrill joy is not beyond valid criticism either and it does seem like you don't think anyone should say anything negative on this topic. or at least you gloss over the valid criticism to use the more extreme examples. Which isnmore entertaining but also comes off as a little dishonest. Overall I get the impression that Thrill Joy tried to do way too much too soon and it bit them in the butt. Not saying they can't recover but they should have offered half of what they did at nycc and they would have avoided this and people were saying they were doing a lot for a first time company before things hit a snag. I do think the refund is a good thing. But more wondering how they plan on dealing with this in the future. Will they be more transparent? Will they wait to have the product before having things go on sale? Hire more people? All options i think can help.

Why should Trilljoy be criticised for their success, and castigated for issues that are outside their control. It is great to see that they are swamped with orders, however they couldn't afford to hire an army of staff on the basis that they may have a rush on their Products. Give them a break so they can sort out the issues and bring on the new range when the dust has settled and they can consolidate.

@@Gastlecast I'm not suggesting they couldn't afford to hire staff, I was suggesting that economically they couldn't hire an army of staff, until they had a feel for the number that needed. Staff sitting around twiddling their thumbs is dead money. I am sure that they now have an idea of how many people are required to maintain the business flow. I am keen to see how they develop and where they go from here.
