I gotta say, the quality of the commercials are top-notch for its time. The fluid transformation of some toys were great, the strings of the flying vehicles were not visible, the explosions were nice, the dusts seen under Convoy as well as the sparks from the train's rail were so appropriate

ジオラマの手作り感が良いですね～ カーロボットやトレインロボは今見てもカッコいいし欲しい！！ 脇役でチラ見えしてるダイヤペットのミニカーやNゲージの0系＆ブルートレインも懐かしい。 NゲージのEF65は爆発の火力が強いのか、前面が焦げちゃってますね(笑)

The Car Robot Diaclones get a lot of love because they eventually became Transformers, but I gotta say, these Super Robo Diaclones look just as great. Even in present day after many decades of Super Robots, the Diaclone ones really stand out.

I have to agree, man. I know the Diaclone Reboot line is still going on, but I'd love it if somehow these designs were incorporated into a future Transformers series. Like, I could easily see Robot Base and Robot Fortress X becoming Titans.

正しくトランスフォーマーの元祖的存在ですね。自分も子供の頃、ハイラックスの4WDのロボットもっていました。友人の弟にかしたら、変形させる際に胴体から真っ二つにされて壊されてしまい、ショックを受けた思い出があります。今現在、私は47歳で、バイナルテックトランスフォーマー（初代トランスフォーマーの現代車バージョン)のロボットを8台もって棚の中に飾ってあります。

ロボットベース持ってました！クリスマスプレゼントで朝起きたら枕元に大きい箱が置いてました！5種類くらいある仮面を1個ハガキで注文して後日届きました、むちゃ悩んだ。5年くらい前まで実家にありました、甥っ子が壊すまで遊んでくれたみたい。付属の隊員の靴底磁石は薄かった、後年磁石が厚くなったのは改悪だと当時感じました、多分薄いとダメだったんでしょうね、しかしスタイル悪くなったんで子供から見れば「ださー」でしたよ

他の方が指摘していらっしゃるが、ロボットベースはリブート（ってか、リメイク？）で出たらしいが、下半身（恐らくは）だけで6万円強程するそうな。 しかも、上半身と揃えてロボット形態にしようモンなら、HGUCネオジオング級のデカさになる可能性ありとの事。

ダイアクロンはほぼトランスフォーマーの前身と言って良いでしょう. ダイアクロンのバトルコンボイが トランスフォーマーでは サイバトロン総司令官コンボイ (オプティマスプライム)ですね. 自分は当時ダイアクロンは ダッシャードリル, カーロボットのポルシェ, ワルダロス,そして トレインロボを持っていました.

玩具に限らず、例えばお菓子とか任天堂ゲームウォッチとか昔のTVCMは価格が表示されてたね（例外あり。例えば車とか家とか）。 お茶の間の時間でおもちゃのCMがTVで流れて、それを観たチビッ子が「これ欲しい、母ちゃん次のクリスマスプレゼントで買って～」ってなった時、お母ちゃんが表示されている価格を見て買える価格帯か買えないレベルか即判断出来る時代だった。

Diaclone was just a toy line. It was Takara's partnership with Hasbro- and borrowing from more than a few non-Diaclone-related toys- which turned _that_ into _The Transformers._ In fact, after _Transformers Generation One_ ended its run in the USA and was transitioning into _Transformers Generation Two_ and the first Marvel Comics run, Diaclone was continued for a short time thereafter, and evolved into a new line, Microman, which continues to this day _completely separated from_ its far-more-popular brother franchise. Recently, however, Diaclone made a _very_ surprising comeback in 2017, and was aimed directly at collectors! Look up "Diaclone Reboot", which is produced by TakaraTomy.
