Yeah 65 degree here today with strong winds. A lot of Helgas new horse fence will need repairs. Spring jobs already!

do you know if the sensors have to be oriented in a certain position. mine keep going off after a bumper replacement. i have a feeling one of the sensors is upside down. is this plausible?

Hello i got the same same error code and sensor position right corner one. can u tell me which sensor should i look for? its premier (6 sensors) noone can tell me which one is bad ( is it on side pannel or near the anti fog light? )

I have a 2018 Volt, the front sensors all of the sudden stopped beeping. The dash indicators still show the distance so I assume the sensors are working. I have checked the settings menu and the "chimes" are enabled and volume is up. Rear sensors work fine including the beeps. Any ideas what is wrong with the front sound???

Is there any differences between the sensors located on lower grille and the sensors on bumper? and where you can order new ones?

Yes there is and I got them directly from GM.

I didn't explain that very well. The parking assist module was lost off the CAN BUS (did not communicate) after the sensor dropped out. 1 bad sensor will take the park assist sensor module off line. The rest of the modules on the CAN BUS were still ok. I think I said that right.

ok got it....if I was still at chevy that job would have come my way looks like you were just out of warranty

@@scuba422123 Well over warranty on milage but the dealer probably would not have covered it anyway because of the damage it appears to have. You know not normal wear and tear type of thing. Same way with the wheel hub I replaced on it just out of warranty. Imagine that!

yea....the dealer gets a goodwill amount they can use for just over or a good customer not too far over... there was a survey done by gm more people would rather be at the dentist having a root canal than a visit to the dealer! I do nys inspections and now there is a print out of open recalls...its almost on every car or truck I do!

It is usually best to use a scan tool to program them.

The actual devise is a 'proximity sensor' (See Wikipedia). I bet the sensors actual production cost was on the order of a couple of bucks. It might be interesting to take the old one apart for a look see!

+rwbishop service manual calls it a park assist sensor so that is what I went with. I figured GM knew what they called it.

not sure what you are considering "programming" but in the video I show using the scantool to basically set the sensor.
