No, I would not recommend it as you can experience drivability issues as well as further damage your car or make matters worse.

My Camry is getting same code my check engine light is on, trac off and vsc lights are on. My mechanic Replaced the o2 sensor but still not fixed

Really?? Do you know if it’s an OEM replacement Denso also it could be that the sensor part number is not the correct part number that supposedly matches the vehicle. If all that checks out ok then you might want to check wiring harnesses as well as vacuum leaks ect.

@@StevenDIY392 I have the same issue with my 05 camry LE. I used 234-9042 which is oem 89467-06050. I have code P0031 and P0051. At first i had code p2238 then when i changed b1S1, then P0031 and P0031 popped up which is B1S1 and B2S1. Problem is B2S1 is 234-9047 with an 7 inch wire harness. Also denso.

I have a P0031 error code on my 2003 Toyota Camry. I followed the video to check the ohms of my current Air/Fuel Ratio Center and it showed up with 2.3 ohms. I do not want to replace the sensor if it is not the issue. Any ideas?
@StevenDIY3922 жыл бұрын
It seems like your reading of 2.3 Ohms is to much resistance in that O2 sensor. Your O2 sensor is probably bad or you have the wrong one installed. When that code is thrown service info says to look at these possible causes….. Open in heater circuit of A/F sensor • A/F sensor heater • FF| relay • ECM

Hello, sorry for the late reply. If you checked all wires and they are good, did you use a Denso Sensor and the correct sensor for the correct position?? If the answer is yes then you might want to check your fuel injectors, check for exhaust or vacuum leaks. Hopefully that helps, let me know how you solved the problem.

What color are the heater wires for the resistance test.
@StevenDIY3923 жыл бұрын
You want to do the resistance test on the heater circuit which is going to be the 2 black wires

What is the correct OEM part number (DENSO) for the faulty sensor you replaced?
@StevenDIY3923 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question. The one you seen me replace in the video was the wrong one as it was the Federal Emissions ULEV part # 8946733040. I replaced that one in part 3 with a Denso sensor from Autozone part # 234-9049 or OEM part number according to service info is 8946706030.
