Neil Nathan is amazing, one of the only genuine functional doctors around. He seems to know exactly what's going on based on symptoms and doesn't want to spunk peoples hard earned money testing them for things that in reality have no bearing on the outcome. I am about to see a practitioner trained by him in the UK so I'm really hopeful I can make a recovery.

@@majahorvat7294 Dr Anton Krige. He doesn't hold your hand, you have to update him on progress but he does adjust everything if required and gives advice over email. I got a fantastic plan from him, diet advice, full gut healing protocol, binder protocol, immune system protocol, it was very detailed. The supplements aren't cheap, if you aren't in work currently it's hard to afford all of them, I found that I had to buy the main ones as requested and buy cheaper (but good) alternatives to others.

Seems like a complex immune dysfunction problem that umbrellas numerous conditions like fibromyalgia, mold illness, MCAS, etc. Pretty weird how none of these conditions existed 50 years ago. Let that sink in and then ask yourself why
@sarahb.6475
@sarahb.6475 Жыл бұрын
Well MCAS often goes with hEDS. You know hypermobile Ehlers Danlos syndrome. And that is genetic. I just watched a new video with Dr Afrin where he said that something causes the mast cells to mutate and the mutated mast cells misbehave. He doesn't know yet what it is that causes the mast cells to mutate yet - but probably something in the environment?
@stephaniew4168
@stephaniew4168 Жыл бұрын
I think eds will be found to be actually a genetic susceptibility to something in the environment that causes damage to the collagen. They haven't been able to find genes that cause 98% of eds cases. I believe it is all environmental.....eating ultra processes crap pesticides toxic soup we live in eat drink and people done eat enough protein and fat.....they get sibo they cannot absorb ther vitamins....its got to be an environmental trigger for most people.

@@sarahb.6475 interestingly, a deficiency in cellular BIOAVAILABLE copper leads to low DAO (the histamine lowering enzyme) and a huge increase in the number of mast cells in total. Supplementing bioavailable copper has also been shown to fix methylation issues and kick Lyme out of cells. It heals mutated cells too. Would be crazy if all of this “hEDS, MCAS) stuff were simply a copper deficiency right? 😅

The main reason why medical doctors are not taught about mold disease is because the testing is not found through serum labs! Serum labs hold all the diagnoses that lead a doctor to the real money making chronic diseases. Mold toxicity can eventually cause a lot of kidney, lung and liver damage but mostly it causes dehydration initially! But true dehydration is found much later as other organ disfunction begins! When mold toxicity is finally seen in serum labs it is a life and death diagnosis which can also demonstrate a lot of electrolyte imbalances. This is a "better" money making disease than taking supplements until the condition is healed! The pharmaceutical and insurance companies want "real" diseases "with no cure!" The education of doctors in mold disease leads to health and true answers!

(There is some company that does a whole house gas treatment?) and then would the person need to wear a mask while renovating house for deep areas like damaged roof structure, etc? Or is there "no point" in starting any treatment until there is a completely/consistent environment free of mold? Trying to figure out what to do in a real life scenario... Achlorhydria and it's Mom's house and she seems too brain fogged to MAKE A PLAN for getting roof replaced. So that further damage can be stopped. It's affected health on both. So it's kind of a sticky situation as if I seek a job away to get money to change circumstances I need to be strong enough and stable enough digestive function to get through the day...

I have interstitial cystitis and suffer mast cell issues. Also struggle to control viral infections. Terrible allergies. I can blow up instantly in total body hives its extremely scary and I immediately chew a benadryl. I do not let myself be without benadryl because it's such an emergency that happens so fast. I live a distance from hospital and I treat myself, had doctors look at me like I was crazy for being conserned over these hives that they themselves never seen. My mother said as an infant and baby I would have total body hives every morning, she would put me into the sun she say and it cleared. However I have always disliked the sun because it makes me feel sick. Not sure if it could be related, my mom says I was born with a big scrap down my head from a test they did sticking my moms belly with long needle in the womb. Personally I feel my mom being a cigarette smoker was what was causing it, my current hives no clue why or when. But very hypersensitive to all forms of cigarette smoke residue. When do what we can ,where we are, with what we have. What elese is there.

Dr. Alan Guning teaches his patients how to treat this on a budget. Look him up and ways of self testing various bio toxins. My issues was some mold but other bio toxins and strong EMF was what I had to remove my family from. The HVAC is often overlooked. Our condo was clean from visual inspection but the HVAC on the balcony was full on bacteria. The night we left to a hotel we all felt better. Try to get away to a clean place for a couple weeks to see how you feel.

Wow! This discussion is excellent and especially timely because of the relevance to post-COVID syndromes which may be related to much of these issues due to at very least the transient SARS-COV-2 damage to the immune system allowing, for example, for chronic mold infections in the sinuses to become invasive fungal infections which may be a major cause of post-COVID syndromes.

Thank you for the MCAS part. I realise it’s a vicious circle- when mast cells are flaring there’s no way we can treat mold until the immune system is stabilised. On the other hand, it cannot stabilise because mold is a piece of the puzzle. I’m personally stuck with different treatments that do not help much and necessity to get rid of mold toxicity. Do you treat mold in those who have been flaring for months/years despite being on multiple meds and very restrictive diets?

Hello, I want you to explain you my case and ask you if you think I have mold toxicity problems. Around christmas I started to feel my ear very blocked, and lots of phlegm, facial pressure, and in general feeling ill. I went to the doctor and told me sinusitis and gave me antibiotics. It didnt work, I went back and they told me sometimes sinusitis takes time to go away. Then went to the ENT and did nasal endoscopy and he couldn't see anything wrong. Went to emergency room and they said I was all right. I went to so many doctors and shit. But it is been more than one month and I always have mucus, headaches, dizziness, anxiety attacks, one ear blocked, tinnitus, brain fog, derealization, forehead and temples pressure, skin rashes and itches, etc etc and it doesn't go away, it is making me depressed, it is affecting my life, my work and more important my relationship with my partner. But I can't find what it is, doctors refuse to do an allergy test and my Life is hell, I don't know what I have I had lots of mold in my window and I cleaned it, but the room still smells moldy, the curtains smells moldy and everyone tells me it is just stress/anxiety It is destroying my life Do tou think it is mold toxicity? And if so, what can I do to get my health back? I want to be myself again

I had same symptoms and in my case I'm sure it's mold toxicity cause i react on it. Did you become any worse or get stronger symptoms while or shortly after cleaning the mold? If not it could have been only dirt. I've been through same tests with doctors and they found nothing. If you find mold one place it good chance its other places too in the house. I would move or do those ermi test. I recommend Nathan's book: toxic, it's the best thing you can read if you have mold toxicity and maybe any chronic disease as well

One thing to consider is that not all mold is visible. Both environments that made me sick ended up having mold inside the walls (behind the shower, had to tear the tile off), and the other had mold in the HavAC system picked up from the crawl space underneath the house. It’s typically systemic mold that makes people sick, not small patches here and there because you once spilled a glass of water on a windowsill or forgot to throw away an apple.

You need to get out of the environment. If your symptoms get better when you go outside and you got back to feeling basically normal, then you know there’s a mold problem and you’re sick from mold. That’s how I can tell when mold is a problem.
