@@o-jhvacservices4094 Thank you! That is the Mercedes Star System and I got it online quite a few years ago. I think I found it from someone on one of the Mercedes forums. I will have to do some digging to find out who.

Great vid, I think I have a similar problem, low side pressure is 80, and my high side is 120. Does sound like a compressor control? When I bring up rpm I don't really get a change in pressure. Static pressure sat around 90 psi both sides. Would appreciate any pointers. Thanks

@@miguelortega7799 yes, that sounds like it could be the solenoid valve.

Hi, it seem's like I have similar problem in my W164, but with some differences. On mine, air conditioning work proper on lowest set of temperature only. When I'm trying to increase the temperature a bit, the evaporator temperature is going down into -2 degrees and then AC is going to turned into a heater. Evaporator temperature is going up to the outside temperature and there is no more cold air flow. I tkinh that my solenoid valve is stucked open and not control the "power" of AC compressor. Do you know if there is a need to suck the gas from the system before I dismantle this solenoid valve? Thank you in advance for help

Going through this right now. What did you torque the compressor mounting bolts to the engine to? Same for the hose to compressor torque please. Thank you kindly.

@@strake338 good question. I just tightened by feel. I’d guess 10 to 20 ft-lb

I have 2 sets of ac gauges and the high side quick couplers don't fit the high side port of my 2010 ML350. Can you please tell me why and where can I get a coupler that fits? Thank you so much.

Hmm - that is a tough question. I would have expected that if your gauge sets are for R-134a then the high sides should fit. I'd check at Autozone because I'm sure they will have a gauge set that will fit.

Where can I find the fuse for the air conditioner? Thank you. I pushed the quick coupler harder and it went in. Now I need to find the fuse to make sure it is ok. Thank you so much.

What if I dont have all of that to hook up to tell me what it is? I need help. It's so hot and I dont know what to do

@@lelemarie9795 I recommend you get a gauge set to see if you are getting pressure from the compressor. If not, that solenoid valve could be the problem.
