Diagnosing Problems on the Bentley Arnage T - PT8

Gas Cap - Mine was leaking found during smoke test. Go to the rolls forum, a cheap dodge cap worked. I posted that info. Throttle Control - I've spoke to a few folks and they all show that error briefly. I know mine does and only for a second at startup. Fuel Smell - have your shop do a smoke test with the EVAP system. I went it at the Purge Valve. That should help track down that smell. Airbag Squib Driver - sounds like the passenger seat seat bottom sensor. There may be a work around for that. CM False Coded - I believe Bentley defines "CM" as Control Module. Not particularly helpful, but I am jealous you have that Omitec. I had to rent mine from Flying Spares. Speed Sensor - I wonder if even though the test seems fine, one of them fails intermittently, so tough to diagnose. Park Brake Light - that may be on in conjunction with the ABS light, but could also be if the parking brake isn't fully releasing. The shock may be weak. Pull the foot break up with our hand or foot when releasing, that can sometimes turn the light off. Just some quick brainstorming!! One thing at a time, all of this will be resolvable!!

Greetings from Germany, as a Red Label owner for many years: excellent brainstorming on your behalf in your comment ! 2 questions, you may be able to give me advice on: a) Does your Arnage go to the middle water temperature within 1 minute? b) ASC control/fault light A common issue (break in wire etc), yet it is intermittent in mine. @@TH-lo9ei Sorry for the much delayed response. Yes, my Arnage does warm up quickly to almost exactly the middle of the gauge. That's with a fresh thermostat. As for the ASC control, I never had that issue (yet), but don't they take readings from the ABS wheel sensors?

You can hire the Bentley tool from Flying spares but because someone failed to return one there is a substantial charge now . I use the Topdon diagnostic which so far has been very good
