I have the Carista one which does the exact same as the Carly, for what you pay for it it’s a great little thing to have to change settings, find faults, clear faults etc

My opinion is that the auto Start/stop is great and i love it,you save fuel..you think that you're putting wear to the starter and the battery but the truth is the engine does not turn off completely and this car is built to do that..they spend hundreds of thousands hours stressing the car especially the starter to see if this system is gonna work so don't worry about wear on your car..anyway this is how you like your car and btw excellent video but you need to get more knowledge about BMW's if you want to remain a great channel Cheers

The start/stop disable is a "MUST"!!! The oil pump takes some time to fill up the oil pressure in the engine internals, the start/stop will help killing your timming chain pretty faster.

Alex Elsworth I recently bought one BMW 1series E87 2009 with about 150000 km. The car got a new motor after 70000 km because the owner of the car drove it like a maniac I think. You should make sure that the motor is alright because those motors have some problems. If you do not know much about cars, take the BMW to a mechanic before you buy it, to make sure that you do not have to invest lots of money. Mine was alright and I got it for about 4800€ which is something about 4434 Pounds. I hope that I could help you. Best of Luck !

Yeah the chain is actually rattling slightly at the minute but we brought this car as a run about and got it real cheap. Done about 10k miles in it so far and touch wood it's been fine

You need to buy a separate adapter for the porshe each car has his own adapter but use the same app, so that mean you need to buy 2adapter but pay once for the app

Instead of paying for a yearly subscription for a thing you rarely use I recommend paying a little more and buying a launch tab or something similar. Buy extra adapters, if needed, from china. Definitely better, more professional and long term cheaper than carly.

You should upgrade rear lights to LEDS man. I bought myself some but can't get them installed (fml). Something with not having factory xenon or something and I don't have enough experience to figure out all the wiring.. (all lights work except for the regular rear tube lights). There are some sick black ones on the market.

Yes, he did try his hardest to sell this product, I mean there's no 24/7 support by phone or by email 🤣 joker. To be fair however, I have the Carly adapter as well as a paid Carly app. It's been very useful to me. From changing and programming my battery to identifying issues with my glow plugs which was causing my DPF to not be able to regenerate and even proving that the garage who changed my water pump and thermostat did a shoddy job and my new thermostat was broken which I had to take out, 9 hours drive away from home up a ski mountain on New year's Day with no local garage open! So yeah, this product is actually legit.
