This is a beautiful story. There’s always a silver lining I went through a similar situation except I got diagnosed with POTS after I had COVID-19 I was in the hospital for months and couldn’t walk without assistance, some days couldn’t even lift my head up from bed without fainting, but one ambulance ride I begged a paramedic sobbing to let me go home bc I had chemistry homework and he sorta laughed about it with nurses but he offered an invitation to volunteer EMS and I didn’t think I could bc of my condition but his belief in me led me to pushing myself to get better. Now I’m applying to Rowan on a Pre-Med track and getting EMT certified.
