Such a sick battle! More on beat battles please DF. Everyone here is a fan of the music, this should be a mainstay not a 'special treat' for fans. This battle was mad though, did not expect Dialect to get bodied, especially not by BAM hahaha. Unreal. Thought a lot of Dialect's lines were badly slept on because you had to listen to it 2 or 3 times before the penny dropped and you realise how clever they are but in a battle setting you gotta be smarter than that - be too genius and you get slept on, you gotta connect with the crowd at the same time and if you need to be replayed and concentrated on, the crowd won't catch it. Shame. Congrats Bam and cheers Dia and DF, this was class!

I gave this to Bamalam easily. I gave the first to Bamalam chiefly because of Dialect's stumble. The 2nd, I gave to Dialect largely due to crowd reaction, but Bam was doing his thing too. Bam turned all the way up for 3rd round, especially using a style that Dialect is so known for... and, even ignoring that fact, he STILL outperformed Dialect.

I do think a big part of the 3rd round was that it was so unexpected of Bamalam to go in so well over grime. Which was perfectly set off by "You need practice Donny, said you're back but ain't catching bodies", it was without doubt a great round. Though I think the reloads helped him out from losing the beat a couple of times because he had such a huge crowd reaction (mainly other battlers). Whereas Dialect's on beat grime rounds seem slept on because they're consistently top drawer. Effortlesly stays on beat without anything seeming crammed to fit the beat, which I felt on occasion with Bamalam. I think it could easily go 2-1 either way, but i'd say Dialect took it because ^

Gained so much respect for bam in this battle maybe I had not seen enough of his material / battles before this but I thought I knew enough to know that I rated his pen game but not his delivery but bam smashed it and showed his true versatility as a battle rapper. Respect to bam and I think he needs to battle more and get rid of some of the dead wood that seems to be floating around don't flop lately.

Honestly Bam is in my top 10 in DF because what he lacks in delivery and charisma he makes up for in lyricism and character decontruction. His Bender and Mr.Re battles are proof of that.

Dialect is sick on a grime beat and there's no doubt that Bam can be as boring as watching paint dry sometimes.....but not in this clash. I genuinely watched this expecting Dialect to body Bam but I was shocked at Bams performance and some of his bars were fire. I think Bamalam showed his real potential in this battle.....what he CAN do when he tries. Still think Dialect is sick but Bamalam took this imo, even on reloads and crowd reaction alone. I don't think Dialect expected that from Bam either, lol. Sick clash though!

I still keep coming back to this battle man, think it's still my favourite of the year so far. Also why are people saying "Nah, Bam didn't win cos he only won the grime round so 2-1 Dialect"? Even if Dialect WAS winning 2-0 at that point, why separate it on rounds all the time?
