It's a bit of a weird choice to show the user activating the manual mode with the portafilter switch when they could have switched to single dose mode and used the manual button to control the motor. This is a nice feature that hasn't been mentioned in any marketing I've seen.

I'm honestly a little disappointed. I love the traditional aspect of this grinder and I'm sure it's consistent and reliable like other LM equipment but it's nothing special for the modern coffee world. It seems like a copy/paste of other 5-10 year old burr grinders. I'd love to see La Marzocco introduce a lineup of more cutting edge coffee equipment that will wow people rather than release things that already exist from other companies at lower price points. Carry on the tradition but innovate.
