Dialing in Light Roast Espresso on a Flair Signature and 1ZPresso JX Pro

Dialing in light roast coffee for espresso can be difficult. It took me a long time to figure it out. Fortunately, after practicing on Geisha beans, Guatemalan coffee, and Ethiopian, I was able to figure out how to dial in light roast for espresso on my Flair Signature using a 1ZPresso JX PRo grinder.
===== About the Process =====
Light Roast Coffee is much tougher than Dark roast coffee. Because of the low roast profile, the solubility of the beans are very low. This means you need to increase the yield, water temperature, and preinfusion times in order to get the flavors you want. Otherwise it will be quite acidic and unpleasant.

Super cool to see a complete dial in process especially with Flair since there isn't much out there. Would definitely be interested to see you experimenting on longer pre-infusion and lower pressure pulls. Keep up the good work!

You've made a key operational improvement in my Flair workflow. It took your videos for me to discover that the scales can go _UNDER_ the clear plastic drip tray. I'd been using it without the tray because I didn't have room for my scales on top of the tray. Thank you!!!

Just bought a flair signature second hand (used by previous owner once) and I can't wait to try it out. I liked that you actually tasted the shots that weren't necessarily great. Will reference this video again in the near future when I dial mine in.
