Need more how too videos. But me I’m slow so the more descriptive the better. Question that ran through my head is do you just slap the sight tape on. Or does it have to be dialed to a certain yardage, then the tape goes on to match the indicator to that yardage? I can’t seem to figure out how the tape goes on accurately. What if you dial it all the way up and put it on? Or all the way down. Or keep the dial in the middle?

Perhaps hot melt glue is not the best choice for inserts during extreme temperatures. I’ve found the same when it hits 40 degrees here in Western Australia (104 Fahrenheit). Rubber infused cyanoacrylate holds your tip on your shaft in extreme conditions! 😉

bro, as someone who went for their first time last year (went to Michigan) it is an absolute blast. let me give you a tip that isn't outright spoken. any day that you land a nock time, you shoot that course, and after 2PM, they open it up to let you shoot any other course that day, as long as you had a nock time for that day. so save yourself a couple bucks, and only sign up for 1 course a day, and shoot the others in the afternoon. ;) enjoy man. its a blast.

Was there a reason for the points pulling out other than the target being frozen? How were they glued?

Hot glued in.. Ran them all year with success, but combine the cold weather with the frozen targets and a few popped off

Victory actually specifically puts on their packaging that you should not use Hot melt with their shafts. I made that mistake with my first dozen VAP TKO arrows. Every single one pulled right out. I then switched to their Black Fusion glue, which is what they recommend, and not one insert will even budge. Zero issues with that glue. I would suggest using what they recommend. Two dozen VAP TKO arrows and two dozen RIP TKO arrows done with it and not a single slip. The only down side is that once you glue the insert into the shaft they're not ever coming out. It's permanent.
