No "see you on the trails", is this a counterfeit DM MTB? Happy to help out, glad we made some progress!

You said it for me at the beginning ....& It's nothing like any of my videos so went rouge 😉

@@DMMTB use the code DM10 for 10% off custom made dhx2 sag tool 😬

I need to do something like this. Now I have a decent setup I really should focus on getting it dialled in.

I’m still digesting all the info and have had a go setting up the ebike but the coil was to hard for my weight but I bought a lower spring rate that went on the bike yesterday

Great video Dave, a suspension setup course is always something great. I definitely felt positive after the course. Great video and well explained mate. Ride on and have a great week🤙✌

Thanks Christoph .... still trying to absorb all of the information 😕

Good stuff mate, Craig certainly knows his way around a bike!

Yes indeed he does know his way around a bike!

Enjoyed this one, also definitely going to use that portion of trail to do the same for my bike!

Thanks mate, I'm still digesting all the info and trying to do the same for my new Ebike. Done a little bit at Knapsack
@LaT1NaS0Ай бұрын
@@DMMTB From what i can tell the trick is to find a piece of track that has a bit of everything you ride that is easy enough to push back up and do over and over again testing the bracketing as Craig was doing until you fall into the settings that feel the best. Dont know why that piece of track at mill creek didnt click with me sooner as being a good place to do it.

@@LaT1NaS0 Well he did pick that section for a reason 👌 I'm going to find a similar section at my local once my new coil for the eBike arrives

On the manual it says to put Dhx2 spring to 8 clicks of preload which is 1.2 turns? Is it ok to have zero preload on that shock?
@MTBMcPheeАй бұрын
Check out the Vorsprung video on preload, lots of good info in there
@YLDCRDАй бұрын
@@MTBMcPhee yep will have a look it’s just. The fox site on Dhx2 says it must have a minimum of 8 clicks of preload. I’m just not sure why?
@MTBMcPheeАй бұрын
@@YLDCRD I think that's because if you set the preload with the shock out of the bike, when you put it in the frame pulls it to extension. If you set it at zero out of the bike, it will rattle around and potentially be unsafe. Doing it in the bike is the best bet, and I always give it 1/2 turn extra just to be safe.

Looks like McPhee pulls the front up 1/2 way through, though it looks like you just role straight through.... Did you pull up at all Dave?
@DMMTBАй бұрын
I took his advice and just guided it on to the lower rock but looking at the footage he was going quicker and pulled the front up
@BigAmphАй бұрын
@@DMMTB nice! So it can be rolled!

Maybe I may have pulled up a smige

You just lean back a bit. Dave also had 170mm Zeb vs. my tiny little Pikes 😂
