And hold such officers accountable for their actions that boarderline on treason & high crimes. I would say it’s the same old story of ‘follow the money’. The US has exerted immense control over many countries around the world through its financial might. It does this to enemies and allies alike. Europe is already broken economically due to its being coerced into modelling itself after America. It doesn’t dare act independent of American foreign policy for fear of the consequences on its economy.
