His voice saved my life. When I was 20 me and a friend were out riding around and found a Saturate CD lying in a parking lot. We put that CD in and didn't take it out for a very long time. I've been die hard BB fan since. I had a band and covered a lot of BB songs. Our lead singer wasn't Ben but he made you feel what he was singing about. He passed away a few years ago. There have many occasions where Breaking Benjamin have been able to reach me when nothing else could.

I love this song. I agree no auto tune needed. My wife loved this song. We would sit in the car and sing along to it. Of course the original. She passed on March 6th it wasn't covid related. I don't think she would have made it through all of this even if she did live. Funny how God calls us home when he does. Thank you for this remake. It brought a smile to me.

This means the world to me because I have been a Breaking Benjamin fan since I was 11 years old. I have met them a few times backstage at shows and see them EVERY single time they come to California, I live 1 hour away from Reno. After taking a new job as a police officer, I had to cancel my attendance to this show. I was subsequently let go from my job 2-24-2020 after an illness prevented me from training and I was completely heartbroken. Then the entire world shut down. But this song "which was recorded in my area" LITERALLY HITS HOME. It gives me hope to keep going. Thank you BB and Diamante.

My god.... today has literally been THE day that I have each year that I remember my dad. Being depressed all day and trying to be strong. Iris by the goo goo dolls was my dads song. So, lil fun fact for anyone who might wanna get in their feels. I grew up listening to Breaking Benjamin. That was (as I call it) mine and my dad's band. When I was a little girl and suffering from a lot of PTSD from abuse my dad would rock me to sleep and would sing mellowed versions of old school rock n' roll songs. Breaking Benjamin was always a reoccurring theme. I discovered DIAMANTE during a period of extreme growth in my life. I had left my old life behind in search of a new beginning and safety. So the two coming together feels a bit full circle to me. I don't get to see or talk to my dad as often due to conflicting schedules and things of that nature. But whenever I wanna remember the good ol days I listen to some Breaking Benjamin. And when I'm feeling extra down I put this song on repeat. To remind me of the good ol days with my dad, and how strong I've become in my new life. In becoming the best version of myself.

Look into Diamanté further, she is an amazing lyricist. She has good songs on her own, a acoustic of Obvious that will blow your mind, and a cool as song with bad wolves. She is so underrated!

This is exactly what good covers sound like. Either as a band, an artist or even a duet, you keep the core sound and feel of the original song and you do it justice by doing what you're good at and incorporating it into the song. @jim H. As someone who has/is dealing with a whole heap of shit in my life, I can only say this : Find the one thing that gives you a reason to get out of bed each day. If you go to the gym/work, great. If all you do is get out of bed and have some toast, that’s great too. Music gives each and everyone a way to release, in their own way.
