It really is an awesome pairing with the colors of that Eco!!! *edit: the writing in the techo even looks good with day-before bleed-through, too!

Yes!!! That pen pick was serendipitous! I love the combo too, and this looks great in a F nib. FanFreakinTastic. ✒️💜💗🖋

Oh my Garland! Your pen pick for today was so perfect! I really liked this ink after working with it too and going to put it into a pen for every writing.

haha - I love when that happens. It was lovely to write with!!

I thought this might be up your alley! I liked it but already have inks very similar - like Kaweco Summer Purple. It's so interesting that it dries brighter though!
@inksplat3 жыл бұрын
yes! I love Kaweco Summer Purple - it reminds me of some of the newer Birmingham inks too. I think there's quite a few out there like it but it'll be fun to use. :)

Great video. You are relaxing to watch and listen to. Have you done a video about what you usually use fountain pens for (eg. Journaling)?

I'm super behind on comments, so I apologize for the delay getting back to you! Thank you for a kind comments. I did a video about a year ago about what I use my pens for... the short answer is: everything. The long answer is this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4XQfmt3ib2Ke5Y

I’ve surprised myself with this being my favourite so far. It also reminds me of Robert Oster.. Viola or Australian Opal Mauve? Thank you SO much for the chromatography. I’m going to try to do some Nick Stewart ink art as Christmas cards after watching the Cult Pens KZbin tutorial and this is really helpful as I wanted to use these inks.

it's really nice!! the sample I have of Australian Opal Mauve reminds me of Sydney Lavender, but this gave me Viola vibes for sure. I'm glad the chromatography was helpful! If you haven't watched Dormouse's Desk yet, check out her inkvent videos - she's making a card every day using similar sort of things to the Nick Steward technique (I know she took one of his classes). They're very enjoyable - the link is in the description box!

@@inksplat- Is Sydney Lavender a bit darker. I used all my Harmony and loved it. But wanted to replace with something a bit darker?

I totally agree, it’s a super interesting ink Manda! This ink and Pilot Iroshizuku Fuyu-Syogun, seem on a continuum to me, with this on the darker end. Very pretty. How are you?
