Thank you for your Inkvent calendar reviews. That's really useful and helpful to sum up all I need to know about character of ink details.

Well, this was a surprise! Great colour combination. And I am amazed at the difference between the Moonman and the Pen Teo.

I believe the Moonman feed has thinner channels so they get clogged with the shimmer and that may explain the difference.

Very detailed review of the ink! I liked this one a lot, but I didn't see much sheening either. The underlying colour seems very chocolatey to me and the blue glitter makes it feel 'spicy'.

Thank you. The colour combination is really good. But I don't see sheen...

Hmm I wonder what happened with the sheen...it looks like a green sheen though...and blue shimmer is quite interesting with a brown ink.

Me too. It is strange not to see any sheen, specially on the swatch, which has enough ink to show it. Lots of shimmer, though.

I like this brown here. Quite legible as darker. Excellent review. 😊

Looks pretty nice, but I've not had good luck with shimmering ink. Each time I put them in the feed, they end up running really dry, presumably clogging things up. Is there a particular nib/feed/approach that more readily works with shimmering inks?

I've have good luck with shimmers. I only have them in pens with broad nibs and 1.1 stub nibs.

I don't have any special idea about it because I don't use shimmering inks that much. I would say that you need at least a M nib, a feed that can hold the shimmer - I don't know how to choose that - and a nib unit you can disassemble easily to clean in more detail if needed.
