I'm a 5x7 card maker and I really love this size of card. I'm in the States and everyone makes A2 cards(I call them Note Cards) here. The 5x7 makes a nicer card and feels more like a Professional card. Thanks for doing that size and for sharing another beautiful card. Have a great week💐

Love this card! I couldnt wait to try it. I wanted to make the 6 x 6 size. ( i wrote down all the measurements from your blog ). But im having so much trouble making it work scoring at 2 1/2 " and 5 ". However, if i score at 2 1\2 " and 5 1/2 " inch it seems to work a bit better. Can you tell me where i might be going wrong please sam ? X

I'm currently away with family and don't have the cards with me to check sizes. Next week I will check my measurements and let people know. I made the card and it was easy for me to follow. The measurement for the 5x7 card diamonds came out to 2-1/2 squared rather than 3. Is that the correct measurement?

The 3" squared are the pieces you cut separately and stick over the folded diamond shapes.

I have a question. Why is double-sided paper recommended? In the tutorial the other side doesn’t show.

Because you don't have to have the diamonds added to the front and therefore would see the other side of the paper, also if you decide to do the envelope version you will see the other side. You don't have to if you don't want to.

Am I dumb? I tried the 6x6 scoring @21/2 and 5 inches yet when I folded they don't overlap in the middle. Anyone else tried this?

Yes barbara i failed miserably at the 6 x 6 too. Ive also left a comment and hoping sam gets back to me. I tried all ways to make it work, scoring at 2 1/2 and 5 1/2 worked a bit better for me. I thought i was just doing something wrong.
