What's good all you wave riders!! This video is from Oct. 30, 2020 out at Diamond Head Cliffs in the morning!!
Several weeks ago I met a guy while filming out at Canoes and he gifted me a book of surf poems that he had written. His name is Manny Aloha and I really enjoyed his poems so I want to share one of them with everyone. I'll leave his information at the bottom if anyone would like a copy of his book of surf poems. Gift of Glide

To glide on waves is the greatest gift
It provides my soul the greatest lift.
When I have ill feelings the act provides a cure.
It gives me confidence, it makes me feel secure.
The more I do it, the more I feel pure.
Pure creativity, a unique way to play.
I can't think of a better way
To spend a whole day.
However,
Surfing can be so fun that you don't know when to stop.
Almost every time you do it, you feel on top
Like the King of Pop.
The ego inflates and you think you're all cool.
Better tone it down or you'll come off the fool.
Better to stay humble and just do your thing
Rather than show off all your surf bling.
It can make you neglect responsibilities
Like leaving a sink full of dirty dishes.
If you don't balance work with play
You'll soon be making wishes.
