A body substitute person plays the role or pretending to be a person while the real person hides in the shadows pretending to be someone else. Normally only allowing a few people to know who he really is while keeping everyone else in the dark. It is a very simple plan to establish another person as the identity of someone else while hiding the real person as they just need to play out a "script". The other is reincarnation as the Trailblazer to a point he did not care who he ended up as since reincarnation does not always guarantee the person to look the same physically while the "voice" we hear is probably prerecorded "events" Elio saw in advance before he "died" before he set his plans in motion.
