Now that I have finally actually watched this I can express how great this is. This is a great song for this part as the song is nostalgic like and this amv is almost like a nostalgia trip that josuke or okuyasu would go on thinking back to the summer of 1999. The great mix of upbeat and sad parts of the song perfectly match the story of DIU and the victories and defeats of kira and josuke as well as okuyasu. You can't forget to mention the obvious "what a killer queen you are". To finish off the song the song gets uber sad with the "death" of okuyasu then the suddenly upbeat part where okuyasu turns out okay and kira is defeated. DIU truly was a rollercoaster. I can't wait to see what you make of parts 6-8 (and see the end of 8) once the anime comes out.

okuyasu’s “death” didn’t make me cry the first time i saw it, i was mostly just shocked and reeling from the whole kira fight, but oh my god when you put all the clips of josuke and okuyasu’s moments throughout the summer together i BAWLED!! i have NEVER had a fucking amy make me cry before but oh my god that shit hurted. 10/10

What an honor!! 🙏 And yeah Jojo is my fave anime of all time and has broken my heart often but somehow the one (1) time it’s made me cry so far is when Okuyasu Returns.. the sheer relief of it all… HE AND JOSUKE ARE BEST FRIENDS!!! DO NOT SEPARATE! So I def wanted that whole section to be the high point of my DIU vid :-) I’m happy it delivered!! Thank you for the comment! :D

I rarely write comments but I just felt as thought I had to. Every amv you’ve made has made me cry. They all give me nostalgia and longing and makes me realise how much I miss each part. You can tell how much effort you put into each of these and I thank you so much because watching these make me feel as if I’m there watching these characters grow and go through all this pain. Beautiful. I still feel like I give you a harder time when i watch your videos because Oh No Dio Brando, and When you were Young Joseph Joestar set the bar so high. This one was very good, the matching of the lyrics was done well (even ignoring the Killer queen parts). I would put it as one of my top five amvs I've seen from you. Thank you for posting again!

Each of your Jojo AMV's perfectly highlight a specific aspect of each of their representative parts in a way that truly makes it feel like the viewer was part of the incredible journey that these characters went through. I thought of an idea for an amv. Always Something is a darker bizarre song from Cage the Elephant. I thought it could apply to Phantom Blood and it would be funny because Jonathan is pretty light hearted, but the song is dark. Basically the story is a "Good Samaritan" is going around and trying to help people, but he keeps getting effed over because of things he can't change ie, the ever present evil of life, weather, time. I think it applies to Jonathan going around happily doing good and then Dio screwing it all up. Like the one line is he finds his girlfriend with another man (Dio kissing Erina), then the next line is he goes to help a stranded man with no friends (Dio orphaned and then Dio playing football with JoJo) and that man ends up covered in his blood (Dio Stabbing/ literally stealing JoJo's body.) I think it would be pretty cool, because I love Cage the Elephant and this song and JoJo.

Here's another amv idea I thought of. Pork and Beans by Weezer is pretty perfect for Joseph. "I don't give a hoot about what you think" "I'm not gonna wear the clothes you like, I'm fine and dandy with the me inside" "I'll eat my candy with the pork and beans." Beverly Hills or Troublemaker also work, but I think the upbeat sound of Pork and Beans is best for Joseph.

An additional amv idea I thought of for you. Black Widow by Cage the Elephant applied to Lisa Lisa as well as possibly Yamako from part 4. Honestly I'm thinking of it as a kind of tribute to all the badass girls in JoJo's bizarre adventure, so Trish as well. These are the three I can think of off the top of my head. It applies especially well to Yamako though with the whole sociopath murderess temptress vibes and all that but I think it could work for all of them if you wanted.

Another amv idea. Say It Ain't So by Weezer. This is for Dio and Giorno. The song is about this man who is upset about his step father and father being drunks and ruining lives and his own worry about becoming like them. I'm not sure all the details of how you would translate step-fatherhood but I guess Dio is kind of like Giorno's step father he doesn't want to be like and Jonathan is like his father who cleaned up and found Jesus. Or when/ if you focused on Dio he obviously hated his father for being a drunk as well and was insecure about drinking and being like him. Idk. I think it's a cool idea. Having the "Like father, step father, the son is drowning in the flood" line and showing Dio succumbing to alcohol in that death alley would be cool. Also I'm not sure if this is an okay idea, since the main man of Weezer literally wrote this about his own life so it's kind of disrespectful. But I still think it's cool.

Another amv idea for ya. This is Not The End by The Bravery. I don't like the bravery too much cause of all their suicidal overtones, but I think this song would be a pretty good tribute for all the characters who had to die in this bizarre adventure. Zeppeli, Ceaser, and all those who got ghosted throughout the 5 parts. You kinda did a sweet tribute to the people who died in part 3 in your one amv and I really liked that, so I think you could make this work also.
