I also should kit down the drills of some finished diamond paintings, but I hate doing that 😭 Kitting up I like, doing the diamond painting I love, but kitting down I hate. Sometimes I feel tempted to just throw leftover drills away, but I like to keep them in case for missing drills. I can use my own extras instead of having to wait for weeks.

Kitting down isn't so bad now that I have my system set up it really goes by fast! But I understand what you mean. I had about 6 projects to unkit at once and that was not fun. Lol

I am going to start just keeping them in baggies in columns in a box I use when doing a project . Then all I have to do is move them to a photobox. Also you can get these bigger holographic baggies on Amazon and you can just put the card stock in the baggie to keep them standing up. It would drive me nuts to keep removing stickers from jars when starting a new one.

I would simply keep the bags wich the drills came in and put all of them back in there after the painting is done. As long as you got your drills in little ziplock bags. At least mine came in such bags. You wont have to label them then.

I used to do this, I just would have had so many little baggies inside of ziploc bags. I have completed over 20 diamond paintings within the last 6 months. and wanted them to be a bit more organized!

I have the same storage system but i put small index tabs on them

I save them by DMC code. Any that dont have DMC codes get thrown away.

When I de-kit I Have a monster can I sanded down and modified I just pour the extra diamond in, this would be too much effort for me 😅

I just made them different colors to separate the numbers so one block is 300 the next is 400 and so on to make it a little easier

I didn't do a video, it took about a week to complete it. I will put that on the list of videos to make. I've been thinking about easier ways to make it as my way was a little too long. Lol

I used all the materials discussed in the video. I cut the poster board down to the size needed, labeled the baggies for both round and square. I used foam board to have a little more sturdiness. It was a very long process, but worth it in the end!

Jennifer, I made baggies for all the DMC colors (wether I had the drills or not) and it took 2 boxes to fit all the baggies. For the dividers I used foam board A4 size (I think) and cut it down to 11” long and 4” wide. There is an excellent You Tuber who explains how to do this. I’m not sure if I would be violating You Tube rules or etiquette by mentioning her name. You can do a search on You Tube for explanations how to set up these photo boxes for extra drills. I wish you good luck. It does take time (for me three days) but well worth the effort. BarbaraSD

I'm really sorry I don't understand what you are asking. This video was me just showing how i dekit a project and my system. I save the diamonds from kits in case I run out on a different project.

You could use the extra diamonds to do other crafts as well. Without my storage you could just use bags there are other ways out there to try. this just seems to be the easiest way for me.
