Quickie comment ... I cut my packets and then pour with the container sitting on top of a tray ... that way if there’s any spillage, I can just funnel the orphans into the container rather than chasing them around my table! Like your idea of making labels, I’ve been converting each symbol into numbers which is a lot of double checking back and forth to make sure I’ve grabbed the right color!

I so should use a tray when doing it. I've recently done another prep video (not up yet) and yet again I didn't use a tray. I might need to make myself a post it note to remind me. LOL

I love using the xyron to adhere labels ..... one tip, i cut through each symbol line but only to the edge of the white paper... i do that all the way up and down. Then you just need to peal it off the sticker maker paper and stick.... instead of stopping and starting to cut individually... I hope that makes sense... It really does make such a difference..

Hi Paula, that makes perfect sense and is that little gem of a suggestion that will make my life easier - Thank you. Now all I need to do is remember that when I next kit up. LOL
@LadyDi19465 жыл бұрын
I use the Xyron doesn't need to be exactly in the middle as you still have excess. The whole width of the tape is sticky. I love it.

I like to empty all the bags, using multiple tubs for the same color if necessary. That way when the painting is done and I add them to my leftover stash I only have to look up a number once rather than the old 'oops, missed a bag' syndrome LOL

where did you get the storage case with all the pots un from

Hiii... may I ask you where you bought your sticker maker please?
@addmorezest4 жыл бұрын
My sticker maker was lovely gift from a subscriber, but I think you can get them on Amazon.

The stickers are permanent. I know you can buy subsequent refills that are removable stickers. Please let me know what you think. I have been debating whether to buy it or not.
@addmorezest5 жыл бұрын
I'm loving it so far, I've used them for two and while the stickers are permanent, they have come off these bottles. (de-kitting video, will be coming up soon)

With my DMC numbers, do I need to put the symbols, as well?
@addmorezest4 жыл бұрын
You don't need to and I often work with just DMC numbers, but sometimes it can be handy to have the symbol as that saves you looking at the key each time.

How many drills in a full square diamond painting? each 1 centimeter is 4 drills that means 40 drills in 10 centimeters. Now 40 centimeters is 160 drills and 50cm is 200 drills. A painting that is 50x60 centimeters needs 48.000 drills... a 20x20 is "only" 6400 drills.
@addmorezest5 жыл бұрын
I don't tend to count how many as it would scare me, but they are 0.25 cm wide, so it could be worked out.

Hi, I have a few questions about DP. I have finished 2 *"paintings" and am starting on the 3d one. All different companies. the first I bought from a seller at Aliexpress called "Lifyy Factory Store". the canvas was marked "Glymg" The second I bought from a store in Kopavogur, Iceland. The package was marked MOSFA and www.artmosfa.com a website that is not online anymore. The 3d (the one I started on today) is bought from YIKEE Official Store and the canvas is marked "YIKEE" Now, every one of these 3 are different from the other 2. The grids on canvas 2nd (Mosfa) seem to have been a little bit too small, possible 2,498 x 2,498 instead of 2,5 x 2,5. The canvas I am working on now (YIKEE) seems to have the grids a tiny bit too large.. 2,50001*2,50001 or so. There are gaps. I think the first canvas must have been "spot on" as I had little trouble with placing the drills... but they kept popping up... at least until I put Mod Podge over all the drills with a brush. Now... the question... Have you noticed this on the square drill D.P. you have worked on... or I am just being (possible a bit stupid) I have only gotten "glued together" drills when I keep them in a "tic toc" containers. Not when I use those plastic boxes that come 4 pr row in 7 rows. color 64pcs versus 28pcs This is a link to these boxes: www.aliexpress.com/item/32958415518.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000060.1.542b44f26Jy4mG&gps-id=pcDetailBottomMoreThisSeller&scm=1007.13339.146401.0&scm_id=1007.13339.146401.0&scm-url=1007.13339.146401.0&pvid=9ba48c62-1aad-4b47-bbaa-147b6be418d9

I've not noticed a difference specifically between sellers; however, I have had some paintings that seem to fit better than others. Those with the bigger gaps still seem to come out nice though. Homfun is a good quality seller. As for the 'glued together' drills, I've had them, no matter what storage they are put in. I've got some in the painting I'm currently working on, but a rub between my fingers and they seem to come apart.

Looks like a lot of color blocking, if you like using multiplacers. I don’t.

Hi Anna, I'm a single placer too. I just can't get multiplacers to work for me.

Do you happen to know a lady who does scrapbooking who has a channel called Pootles Papercraft? You guys have such similar hands and hand movements you could be sisters.

Hi Jean, I don't (that I know of), I'll have to have a look to see if I know them. Definitely not my sister though, she hasn't scrapbooked in years. LOL
