Wow, what a beautiful design! I've purchase a few HAED charts to cross stitch, but have never done one as a DP. The reason you might have trouble finding drills in color 781 is because DMC discontinued that color a few years ago. Their suggested substitute is 782 or, if you can't find that, 3829.

Hi Kim! I LOVE Aimee Stewart! I started to cross stitch “A Stitch In Time”. I have the Max Color and Super Size. I started it on a tiny, tiny material; 25 stitches per inch. I was doing pretty good when I noticed I could not see it well. Little by little it got worse. I have a cataract in my left eye. I’m blind in my right eye. So I had to stop until I get it removed. Other health issue have become priority to me. That’s one reason I can’t DP dark color kits. DAC has A LOT of dark kits. Which is why I get more DD. Any how, you and Robert have inspired me! I am going to do that kit in DP. Although I may re-purchase the pattern in regular. Not sure yet. That max color is super duper confetti. I’m talking out of 100 stitches I used 83 colors! LOL I may rethink that max color and super size. 😂😂 I about fell on the floor when you named how many 310 you have in that kit! That a lot of black. The picture is super cute though! I am more of a cat person. Until I got Pixieann I wasn’t big on dogs. This is going to be interesting to watch and learn. I am loving watching Roberts HAED come together. Thank You for the video! I also had cataracts (at age 40) and had them fixed last yr. I also quit stitching I need reading glasses now. Stitching is better. I hope you can get back to it. The smallest I stitched ws 18

What an exciting Diamond Painting!!! And I love that you are doing it in such a large size so that you will be able to see a lot of detail that this painting deserves. I can’t wait to follow you in this process! Also, when you start to diamond paint it will you give us viewers a little tutorial on how to do it? I’ve done counted cross stitch before but that was using a magnetic board and magnet strips to keep my place in the pattern. So, I’m not sure how that will work using an iPad. Thanks so much!!! That’s an amazing picture, I saw that in their site. I’m looking at a Richard Lorenz cross stitch, but don’t really understand how you work the conversion. You said you had a video right? How are you going to Match them up when finshed it love the way the canvas is marked off in squares with numbers around it makes it so much easyier to do I got the little match girl as a heaven earth design from smiths beads it’s some where in my stash I must look for it because I want to change the canvas to a evermount one because I think I be able to do it if I got the boxes numbers great video

My mistake on my current conversion on mine is that it’s a mini and is pixelated. Yours is a great size!

I did the mini Christmas one. It was not horrible, but pixilated. I think mine would have been ok just like 10 cm bigger each way. I don’t think it needed to be as big as they one I’m planning now lol. But this one, with all the small dogs etc, I think definitely needs to be this large or larger even! 🫢

And at a certain drill count use 1, 2, 3 etc pods. I have to think and look it over more. 🤗 but I’m so excited! I have a wip and chat all recorded about the retreat.
