Hi Rebecca. I hope you're having a nice weekend. Thank you for the company and chat. I wanted to let you all know that my hubby was not super excited about getting a diamond painting for Christmas but he did eventually come around and we worked on a little together on the 2nd. On New Years Eve the 5 of us (we have 3 boys) sit at the dinning table and work on the Legos we all received for Christmas. It was fun and he seemed to be concentrating hard. At one point he said, "Oh there's a flat side". 😆 I just said, "Oh yeah, sorry I forgot to mention that." It was cute. We have to work out some lighting issues but overall it went well. He not jumping at the opportunity to share the hobby with me but I think it'll go better than when we used to do puzzles. Also, I love my trays and the cover paper is wonderful. I was so happy to get rid of the parchment paper. Take care and best wishes to you and your family.

I could relate to your comment! This was the first Christmas I gifted a DA painting to the hubby. He looked so overwhelmed. So, I promised we would work together. He also had tried to place on the faceted side and I had to remind him to place it on the flat side. We also have three sons too , that love Legos!!!

Resin are the so called better drills. To be honest I haven't noticed that much difference when working with them but the acrylic seem to have more facets.

hi i really admire your patience to sigle place such big blocks of color i do not have that amount of patience i need to multiplace to keep me sane, but i do only use a four placer because it is the easiest for me.even though i do want to try a 7 placer because they come in the new diamond art club toolkits. 😅 i have a very small stash maybe 2 or 3 in the closet while im working on one because i feel like i will get overwhelmed if i have more and my budget is a bit tight and since i have so little i usually work on them in the order i buy them. thanks so much for the videos they keep me company while i diamond paint and thankyou for responding to all the comment i really appreciate i( sorry for the long comment)❤

Was watching yesterday and remembered that I needed to try a tip from another subscriber. I went hunting for a DP with a double sided adhesive that has a lot on the borders and tested it in my DP pen. It is stickier than the glue dots that I've acquired. 🤔 Not sure if I prefer it than the glue dots. Although it's better than the pink wax. In my opinion. I don't remember which subscriber suggested the residual adhesive of a DP, but I want to thank him/her, every idea helps❣️💖👍🏻

I'm finally getting around to watching this wip and chat (been working through december slowly). It was my painting that never showed up and I was planning to do it for advent but I'm going to do it in June instead now. I gave my mom the second one and I'm going to try and get her to do it in June as well.

Had a fairly good week, though I have a bad cold. I have seen your mammoth WIP and chat, and have been working on my Winter Tree diamond painting. As I am watching this video, I am on my last square. I have had to do a lateral flow test (negative) AND a PCR (on the advice of my nurse in charge) yesterday which also came back negative. Thankfully, touchwood, I have not had that dreaded word.

In terms of people having a hard time getting notified about new things, could it be possible to offer a newsletter on your website that people can sign up for? You can use the newsletter feature as a shop update option for those who would prefer to receive it via email rather than having to go searching. ETA: you sort of covered it, but I typed this out with the video on pause, haha.

In regards to the friction pens, the ink will come back if you put the item in the freezer.

Happy 9th January. Didn’t receive log book before Xmas but I did receive it a couple of days ago. Well worth the wait! Have been busy filling it in with a few of the paintings I finished over Xmas period. Have decided not to be so ambitious this year and only work on two paintings at a time my HAED and one from my stash chosen by the decision wheel. Your epic WIP and waffle video was a great start to the New Year. Loved it! Thank you for making the time. 🌻☕️🦘💛👀🌟🏅

Thanks for another great wip n waffle.. it has helped distract me from the frustration I'm feeling doing a custom of myself and my late hubby 😥 I submitted a black n white photo but some how we seem to have pinky, purple faces 🙄 I will stick with this one and hope it looks ok in the end... is it usual for a black n white custom to have green and pink in it? 😥💚

I needed to answer this one straight away as I've done tomorrows WIP & Waffle already. YES, pink, green and purple are normal in a black and white. it's amazing how the colours still come through as black and white though. Once you've done a full section, step back, or take a photo with your phone and look at it that way, you'll be surprised how good it looks.
