Love the new rules! My one thought is that even though chase packs don’t technically guarantee a diamond I don’t think they should count for the base packs (unless you pull it out of a standard pack like you did in this episode).

Great series as always Shelfy - one of the best on the tubes. I do think you need to reward yourself more for your pitching performances - IMO 1 Standard Pack for a hold, 3 standard packs for a save. Id also be down to see a bit of randomness added for obtaining - something like Perfect/Perfect hits = 1 additional standard pack but Perfect/Perfect Outs are -1 Standard Packs (but id also understand if you were just like 'Nah pass') Chase packs im not sure how i feel about them - i don't think they should count as standard packs since they are like 1:2 for a diamond but since they are not guaranteed they shouldnt be on the wheel. Maybe they should cost you 10-15 standard packs after a game? Keep up the great content bro

Bat skin doesnt boost the stats of your diamond dynasty team, only boosts a CAPs stats if you equip it on them. Bat skin is only for visuals on DD team.

i feel like chase packs and gold player packs should not be the same as a base pack early on. the gold player pack just eliminated most of the early stage cards which is my favourite part of the series. also i feel like 2 diamonds to start a season would also be better

Chase packs don’t count they only get opened when we get them through the standard packs. I did not count one as a pack in this. It was opened as a bonus cause we got it in a pack. The gold player pack didn’t ruin anything for me. They are early stage cards. By this weekend every team is gonna be 88+ overall from top to bottom. People do this in episode 1 every year.. act like I make things too easy and the team is too good. ITS WEEK ONE. Everyone’s teams are raw. It’s gonna be 90+ top to bottom every roster by Friday. Then start of season 2 it’ll be 95+ top to bottom and I’ll be using silver / golds. I’m at a gigantic disadvantage. Don’t be narrow minded just cause teams suck today. That’s gonna last 1 week.. I’m never going to be in this part of ranked seasons ever again. It’ll be 700+ all year once I break that door down. Using bronzes & silvers at that stage would RUIN the series. RNG plays way too big a role against 79 and under overalls once 115+ H/9 pitchers are in the game. & that’s coming by May.
