Can’t stand the new ranked system, i solo q bc I don’t have time to link up with people I would only play an hour at a time 3 days out the week. when it first came out I got 4 kills off drop, died to a 4th party and got -5 rp shit pissed me off and pubs are trash when teammates jus leave and do their own thing. I just quit playing this season bc the system is horrible for solo q players. Makes getting high ranks hella time consuming and the games boring asf.

@@MultiAsssasin no no the issue is not that they decide to land immediatly, the issue is that they land immediatly BUT they don't even know how to hold a gun so they get beamed even in a 1v1 with a dude with the p2020 and then they start spamming pings and getting mad at u cause "u didn't heeeeelp meeeee" when u are on the other side of the building trying to not die like they did. Solo Q is really frustrating when u have to 1v3 every single game. I'm trying to find a team but even discord servers are useless cuz is full of people that aren't good at the game or that leave after 1 game

Imo they flopped with ranked this season instead of focusing on teams getting rewarded for kills they focused on teams competing for placement, cause now there’s no reason to hot drop and absolutely destroy everything and expect to already be even, you kill 3 teams by yourself off rip and you only gain 9 RP like what

I’ve been solo queuing this whole time and I’m currently in gold IV, trust me I’ve had really bad teammates too mainly rookies but I also had a lot of games with 3-7 kills and got 100+ rp from being top 5 or winning. If you can get kills early game then do that but don’t put yourself into a bad spot just for a kill, you can even play really passively and just get most your kills late game which will still give you heaps of rp. I know it sounds selfish but if you’re gonna solo que you’re gonna have to make the decision sometimes on if it’s smart for you to go get your dead teammates banner because if you die before top 10 you’re not gonna get any points and it will all be for nothing. Admittedly there’s just some things you can’t control when playing apex like the teammates you get or loot you find, sometimes games will go really well and you’ll come away with a dub or heaps of rp but a lot of the times you’re just gonna be gaining points and losing points and that’s why patience is important when solo queuing in ranked because you really have to be smart with how you play considering most times you’re teammates won’t have a mic or will be in a discord or party chat with eachother. The last tip I can give to you is just play with your teammates, you usually have no idea what they’re doing or where they’re gonna go so it’s best to just stay as close to them as possible because you’ll have a much better chance at killing a squad together rather then alone.
