Diamond Rush - Mobile Gaming on Nokia C2-01

I discovered my old Nokia C2-01 handset - charged it up and had an evening of playing some of the games still on it. Surprisingly fun although sometimes hard to play through the camera viewfinder as I had to try to play by feel where the buttons are.
This is a quick off-screen video of Diamond Rush from Gameloft. It is a fairly nice puzzle adventure game - reminds me a bit of the old Repton games and other similar concepts etc. Really nice graphics for a phone game of this era. Here I play through the very start of the game. If you want to see more let me know.
I try to keep the phone still and apologies that my thumb sometimes comes into shot.

I was trying to remember this game I used to play on 2013, I tried searching the cellphone reference but it didn't work, today I was taking a General culture test here in a youtube video; one of the questions was about Angkor wat, I suddenly remembered that name, related to this game, I typed that word with Nokia game on -search- and finally KZbin brought the name back to me.... beautiful 😢🙂 thanks!!!

Hey David - glad you managed to solve the mystery :-) Its always so frustrating when you have a blank and can't find it because you don't even know where to start in the Search Engine. Always pleasing when circumstances conspire to dredge up a long buried memory of a reference or name and that leads you to follow the breadcrumb trail. They made a compilation of 30 of their games as a free download to celebrate their Anniversary. These are the original games but ported to modern phones/tablets. So 30 classic games for free (including this one) You can see gameplay demos of all of the included titles on my Channel. Enjoy!

Yes it's a really fun game. Similar to some older games on the old personal computers but it really suits the format and the pixel art is truly lovely. I Remember i used to play this game back at 2016-2017, The Mid-Generation TSG2008 since i was from a strict religious household that doesn't want game consoles in our house because of religious and socialogical reasons. I Always wished to be better at the Megaman Battle Network Games so as the Starforce Games but by the time MMSF3 Got released, I Was born. But i didn't have a Nintendo DS and my parents wouldn't allow me to have one. But i didn't knew a lot of stuff back then when i was born, for like 8 years. Since i tried to dig up old phones from my relatives, i found Diamond Rush in a Nokia Phone but i forgot the model. It is the time i still remember it after 5 years ago, but not that distant (At the time my channel was there but under a different username).

The model I played this on was a C2-01 but it is on various models of Nokia I believe. You can get it for free if you have either an Apple or Android phone as it is part of the GameLoft Classics along with 29 other games. ITs well worth checking out (I have videos of the other games on my channel)

It's a Nokia C2-01 This game is available for free on the Gameloft Anniversary Classics for iOS and Android so if you have a smart phone you can play it on that now :-) Just search Gameloft on the App Store. I have a video showing this collection so be sure to check it out. Enjoy my channel :-)

How to download

Easiest way - if you have an iOS device or an Android device go to the App Store or Google Store and search for Gameloft. You should see Gameloft Classics which is a free download containing 30 of Gameloft's titles - including this one - to celebrate their 20th anniversary. These are the same classic titles but reworked for modern devices and some extra oprtions etc I have videos on my channel if you want to check out the rtirtles included. Some great stuff in there including many of my favourites from back in the day plus some gems that are new discoveries for me. Hope that helped! Enjoy!
