Diamond Select always looked amazing and usually came with a decent amount of accessories, but the articulation wasn't always the greatest and they were 7" scale not the "normal" 6" scale. That said I still have quite a few of them.

i have the colossus, and i'm looking at the beast and hulk they sell, like you said scaling is an issue so i usually only get them for the bigger characters

Marvel Select tends to give their "Normal" sized character (Cap, Blade, Mr. Fantastic etc.) more accessories I think to compensate for the Larger figures that's why they sell it for the same price.

I like this figure myself. But I do agree with you about the little smidget of paint that happens to be above his lip. But other than that, he looks great. I can't wait to buy him.

It's surprising to me that most 'critics' haven't noted the smooth knee and elbow joints, resembling those of Mafex or SH Figuarts figures when they fold in on themselves.

Great video! From what I’ve seen, your unit seems to have the most flaws in the paintwork. You might want to consider returning it for a replacement. It’s not that it’s ruining your figure, but you definitely deserve better.

I can´t believe Captain America was able to happen. Not dismissing the character itself but what it represents. How a character that represents a specific country became popular? PS Spot, your Steve Roger has leprosy....EEEEWWW!!! Burn it! Burn it with fire!!! ...it´s always Spot´s figures. ...that head should have been the thumbnail.

I used to collect Diamond Select figures a long time ago but gave them all away. Have they always been this bad? The paint is atrocious

@TheReviewSpot they used to come with really cool bases but no, I've never been into Marvel Legends. Mostly just Neca. But I feel like the paint apps were never this sloppy before

It probably has something to with it being a "review sample", I saw another review of this figure and they said it was also provided by Diamond/Marvel select and there are also noticeable paint imperfections. But when I watch toy channel that specifically state that they bought the figures themselves, there seems to be less paint imperfections, of course it is not always perfectly clean but less. Just based my observation of more or less 10 review videos I saw of this figure.
