This is great, seeing the old Diamond in use. Grandpa had a one of their trucks that saw a lot of use here in the USA. I'd guess this Wiki article explains its arrival to the UK. "During World War II, Diamond T produced a classic heavy truck in the 980/981, a prime mover which was quickly acquired by the British Purchasing Commission for duty as a tank transporter tractor. "
