The only real requirements are that you need a meta quest 2 or 3/3s and own java. You don't need a PC, but it is supposedly easier. The method without use of a PC or mobile device requires the mobile VR station. There are plenty of tutorials on how to use mobile VR station to get sidequest directly onto the headset with no external devices. At current there are memory leaks so you can't play with a high render distance without lag, but the next update should allow greater frame rates of up to 70fps or more depending on the settings and mods installed.

Great video! Don't forget to recommend virtual desktop or steam link for playing with your pc, you just need a 5ghz router and you're good to go, way better than the cable that might threw off new players

New method without pc Quest 3 3s & 2 1.turn on developer mode 2.look up on KZbin how to install a apk without pc 3.go to quest craft website and install apk 4.login 5.select version 1.18 or 19 to prevent crashes 6.wait for it to finish downloading game 7.do not enhance graphics 8.keep render distance at 12 or less 9.your all set 10.yes you can mod the game press the mod button in the lobby 11.please consider subscribing and liking the comment for everyone to see the comments/tutorial 12. If I'm not mistaken, I think you can install sidequest on your quest 3/2 itself, no need for pc, you can search in yt on how to install it on the quest itself, or you can use your phone to install it on your quest (you need android phone)

Depends on if you like demonatizable 18+ answers that I'm not gonna type. Also there are some good games. Most of the games I've seen were shallow, but some are mind-bending. Shadow Point defys gravity in a way that serves the fantasy of walking on walls and ceilings. Block tales has childish single player with a great camera and slightly bad controls. I haven't learned how to find fellow adults on vr chat, so I stopped playing that. Childish multiplayer can be aweful. Servers should sort people by age by default. Ancient Dungeon has a really nice magic throwing knife. Trover saves the universe is funny mature single player and is well made. Hyperbolic is a fun mind boggling tour of noneuclidian geometry for a few minutes but becomes nauseating even to a guy who like to spin on office chairs with the goal just to get dizzy.
