I already posted this as a reply to another comment but I just realized another reason this song feels nostalgic, besides the fact that we're hearing a FNaF song by Will, with Chloe and their wonderful vocal performance, but the reason is kinda hard to explain lmao This is so nostalgic because this is a FNaF song about a version of William Afton, who we're *just getting to know.* The movie is, in a way, a new start on FNaF's story, William barely appeared in it (unfortunately) so we hardly know anything about him, he's still surrounded by mystery. All we know is that he worked in the company and killed the children who would turn into vengeful spirits. That's essentially what we knew about him in the early 2015 FNaF era during which Will released songs like "It's Time To Die" and "I'm The Purple Guy," so it's very reminiscent of back then. Those were songs about Afton, but we didn't really know anything about him then, not even his name. That's why this song, while fresh and a massive improvement over Will's old works, *feels* so much like those classic DAGames FNaF songs.
