i was very into bionicle as a kid despite not growing up in the era of bionicle where it peaked, i got my mom to get me 2 protector of the earth sets back in like 2015 and always wanted more than just those 2, yet, when i returned to walmart with my mom like a week later, bionicle was nowhere in sight and i've always wanted to get my hands on some more. also, onua is forever my favorite bionicle, idc what anyone says, he's the best one out there

I freaking loved the Polly Pocket ads as a kid for some reason. That or the various Barbie/Bratz ads. Though the original Pokémon ads were the best...but, the toys I really wanted as a kid weren't even actually toys, they were the plush Nick and Jr dolls from the Good Morning sign-on they used to play all the time.

Let's be real Lego were the kings of toy commercials! They felt they were trying to tell a story while selling you toys, Hell some of them felt like mini-movies. Whether they be Bionicle, Ninjago, Hero Factory or, even City, there was always passion within every commercial. That was made to the point where I would look them up even at 18 year old they were something special!
