For those with 4c... that 4c edge control is magic. If your hair is blow dried use yaki, if not use Marley hair. Do the feed in method for a super natural looking braid. ♡

I’m with you girl. I use a lot of gel too and I don’t care it’s needed to slick my ponytail the way I want it. I use the same method. I do the top layer then go in and part my hair to gel those parts working back up to the top. I’ve had co workers be like oh your hair it’s so cute/pretty, but I don’t like all that gel in my hair. So I say and I don’t like all that heat in my hair like when y’all press y’all hair every week or every other week 🥴. That usually shuts them up, lol.
