I wish SMU, Christine, Elaine, Naser, etc, were in their prime when she was at her peak. Especially for the 400m.

@@okay9508that’s not necessarily true. I’d argue SMU didn’t hit her prime in 2018 when she went sub 49 for the first time. Allyson Felix was 33 and pregnant in 2018. I really wonder how much faster Allyson could have gone had she focused on the 400m earlier and had this level of competition to push her. With her running so many 48 second legs (including that 47.72 she ran at the 2015 WC), it was obvious she could have gone a lot faster. I wish she would have went for the 200m/400m double at the 2012 Olympics instead of the 100m/200m. She had major potential in both but especially the 400m.

2022 will be her last year. She is set to run the 200.
