Now you knew I was gonna love that blanket, lol! I am very, very interested in this double knitting thing. I can deal with purling but if you get it figured out for just knitting that would be awesome! Looking forward to seeing your progress on these. Omg I experienced the same with my beaded crossstitch. Ended up using dmc, and also the static in the beads...horrible 😂🙈 Love your blanket, it's so pretty. Do you crochet too? I am contemplating trying crochet a blanket, but the last few times I tried, I couldn't even do a square that looked like a square 😂😂

That threads a nightmare, glad it's not just me! Yes I crochet as well, I have done baby blankets, cardigans and even graphgan blankets (picture blankets). Have you been watching KZbin videos to help? Most crochet won't be perfectly square anyway until you block it at the end. Have faith, it will turn out ok in the end. Us crafter's put too much pressure on ourselves for things to be perfect!!
