I am happy to say I still have the studs my Ex bought me 17 years ago. I almost loss one when the screw back fell off, and the earring fell into a public restroom's sink. Thank God that sink had a drain catcher, and they didn't get loss in the club I was in at the time. The screw backs need to be changed every couple of years if you wear them a lot.

Buy something substantial first (I.e. house). An item like this should be considered after you both are established. No rational woman wants her partner to feel a certain kind of way behind jewelry. Not reasonable. She will respect you more if you focus on the essentials.

Thanks for the video, I am thinking on getting my wife Diamond earrings , I am thinking of going for 2 carats in each ear, round shape set in white gold or platinum , for safety reason I would go with the 4 holders. What color/clarity you think is good and should the diamond be meaty on the top and have less size underneath? what would be your opinion please , Thank you again.

Wow, 2 carat in each ear is big. I really like G color at least SI1 clarity. I just bought dangle earring 1.50ct with that color and clarity, and they are beautiful.

@@chanetra0918 I believe what you purchased is beautiful, but next time your in a jewelry store, ask the jewelry to try on earrings 2 carat each ear set in platinum. There is nothing like it, the set needs nothing else and it says it all totally gorgeous 😍, obviously this my opinion, but a G with SI1 and you can only see the imperfections by using a jewelers loop, perfect & you don't need GIA certification either. Again my opinion I respect your opinion too, but just try them on & you'll see spending the money was well worth it and in most crowds no other lady will be wearing them too. The compliments my wife gets is very flattering (with some jealously, Oooops lolololol). All the best and wear your earrings in good health.

Maybe the whole "It's an earring not a ring" is why I hate when men wear earrings. If you notice...the men that actually wear earrings always seem to want these giant diamonds in their ears and it just looks off. So maybe if they sized down...I wouldn't hate men wearing earrings. I do love a necklace/cuban link chain on a man. I guess back in the day they wore herringbones too..if I remember right. That didn't look bad either. Tiffany has some really nice diamond stud earrings with rose gold and they aren't very big at all. But I bet they look bomb in someones' ear. And I'm sure they are overpriced BUT they are only about 1200 which isn't bad for Tiffany...at least it seems cheaper than I would expect.

Why buy real diamonds that are low quality if you just want the sparkle? Lab made are much cheaper and better sparkle in that price point. If you want diamonds buy something of real rarity that has retained value and multi generational significance. Lower quality diamonds are extremely common and frankly overpriced. It's the flawless or near flawless that are truly rare and worthy of the money.
